I too wish that combat would drop earlier. Sometimes it’s not even the PvP that worries me it’s the fact you’re waiting outside each port to pick up your Pieces of Eight for 5 minutes because there’s one lost add that’s trying to find you and keeping you from accessing the port menu

Or better yet, make only the smuggle menu accessible while in combat.

When large ships are released they better give us the ability to have multiple mortars that launch almost instantly just like the NPCs can. I mean it takes 30 seconds to load player mortars but yet the NPCs load instantly.

NPC's can also drop a mortar on themselves where as we have a minimum required distance. :(

@SwoleBenji yeah. But it's like they have no reload speed. I mean I saw one ship launch 2 mortars right after another at you. From the same ship.

That's because they were able to recruit all the best sailors before you even bought the game. We're just getting all the rejects to man our ships to make due with.

The names of the ships are Dutch. ‘Noorderlicht’ and ‘Schoonhoven’

Thanks for the honest hint at the end, that this ship is too niche / too specific. So many yt guys would sell it like "DID I JUST BREAK SNB?!?! LOOK AT THAT INSANE DMG" while oneshotting lvl 4 ships.

I love that this is NOT a bombard build for it. But here is what I were missing from it. I understand your reasoning with the large furnitures. But as one who always play in group, who unironicly is a tank/support/dps group. I never got an idea of what you'd swap the furniture for. Our tank is using the heal from crew attacks, so what should I then use?

Just became kingpin so your guides are really appreciated. I have enjoyed using the fire bombard and saving pieces of eight for level III. That said, would these be an okay choice in your opinion to run on this ship?

boss being immune happens for two reasons I found so far. Outside of these could be a possible bug. 1. If a event in active we must enroll to participate in the event. 2. Timer expired for the event.

Is the 5k damage unblockable though? If it hits through brace then it could be viable against snow

I know sail tearing and sail dmg hits through brace so it's possible.

PC and I would assume an M.2 MVME... I load within seconds as well with my computer. I have an M.2 MVME my game is installed to. Having a fast M.2 MVME helps a ton.
