This video kept me positive for the past month or so. I had this enlarged lymph node painless, movable, 2cms atleast in size. I am not expecting any serious condition like cancer but i cant slash it off my list. So i went to an ENT doctor get myself checked out, prescribed me antibiotics then thru Gods help as well it shrink slowly. Lessons from this is that 1.Most enlarged lymph nodes are responding to infections in a way of saying that you need to help them do their jobs by eating healthy, up your Vitamin C , get plenty of rest. 2. Stop poking and getting obsessed in touching it from time to time it will only be irritated and will swell longer. 3. Stop worrying. Maybe most people watching these clips were looking for answers regarding their situation I suggest go to the doctor if you are in doubt. Most lumps are not cancerous and the internet is feeding you enough signs and symptoms for you to conclude that you have a cancer, stop asking Google and book a visit to the ENT. Hope this helps. Godbless!

I was paranoid I went to a doctor and they did a RBC count,everything was ok I went to a pediatrician who said its probably nothing but referred me to another specialist just to be 100% sure The specialist said its also probably nothing,which dissapointed me even more.I knew it was cancer. But he said we should do an FNA test,After doing it he said that he cant be sure again we need a biopsy It was just a swollen lymph node nothing more I did not have cancer Stop worrying about it,Watching youtube videos and googling will make you paranoid Your ok,lymph nodes tend to swell alot soo dont worry,live a happy stress free life

@@ishadowlegend9085 actually it sounds like nothing. You must understand that some lymph nodes swell from some infection a long time ago and never go back down completely. I've had a slight swollen lymph node behind my right ear for 3 years and yes I did all sorts of blood test. All which came back normal. I've came to the conclusion that the reason why that one stayed raised is due to the fact that I completely blew out my right ear drum when I was about 9 yrs old and so I was prone to ear infections on that ear.

I rarely ever comment on KZbin videos but I just had to let you know how important this video has been for me and how relatable and seen it made me feel and I'm sure everyone with health anxiety can relate. I've had a swollen lymph node in my neck for 6+ months now probably way more but that's when I first started becoming obsessed. In that time I started getting a sore throat in the same area and all I can think is I'm dying aged 22, I've seen nurses and doctors numerous alike who say it's nothing and they can't even feel the lymph node in my neck. I also had another that swelled up following a cold that has never grown more and moves easily. At this point I'm googling 24/7, can't sleep, can't think of anything else and I check my throat every time I have access to a mirror. So that's just another thing I wanted to say.. none of these other symptoms started until I started to worry about it, and I think anxiety can cause a lot of symptoms that mess with your head further. Take care and stay safe!
@abstarXD3 жыл бұрын
@@rakshitrakshit6022 thank you! I really need to try not to. My throat pain hasn't actually been so bad since I started changing the way I sleep at night surprisingly. And when it comes to lymph nodes... I don't think it can help when I'm touching them constantly because I'm paranoid about any change, that really will prevent them going down. Hope you feel better soon!

Dear Cherelle. I wanted thank you for your positive advice and information. You have no Idea how much this video helped me to gather my thoughts. Two weeks ago, I felt some muscle issues under my right jaw (below my chin). I started touching that area, to a point that It got much more swollen than before (My own fault). And then I "really" started panicking. I looked everywhere on the Internet and KZbin. And that's how I come across your video. After watching your video I felt a huge relief and calm. And based on your advice, I sopped touching on my jaw area. Now almost one and half week later, the Lymph is gone. But at the beginning I really felt something. I just wanted to come on here and thank you personally. Please keep this video up, as I am sure it will help many others. Great advice dear.

Such a huge plague you are addressing. When the internet became readily accessible, it was a double edged sword making it easy to drive yourself crazy with researching whatever might be affecting your health, but on the other hand an enormous help in offering up differential illnesses, statistical information, etc. I'm certain it has saved many lives. Your dedicated health anxiety channel is something that is absolutely necessary.

Thank you so much for this. I’ve had swollen lymph nodes on one side of my neck and behind one of my ears for such a long time, did a lot of googling and all I read was ‘cancer’ this and ‘lymphoma’ that. I’ve been so worried for so long, but your video has really helped to ease my anxieties☺️

@@chloejohnson5610 I hit my head at work standing up I really don't remember exactly where I hit it so I found a bump on the lower right side diagonal to myself ear assumed it was a scalp hematoma they take a while to heal and may even calcify creating a permanent bump but mine is palpable I think it may be a occipital lymph node I'm thin and can feel more of mine than most people it feels under 1 cm but I'm still worried tried to book an appointment with a doctor but it was too late I work the rest of the week so I might have to wait until next week to get it checked out

I've had these since high school, but as I grew up (I'm 24) I started being more anxious and having panic attacks during stressful situations, and this also led to me giving more attention to my swollen lymph nodes. I've been thinking about this for the past two months now and trying to calm down as I remember that I've been having them for years.

Same. And I never really started being concerned until I got older. My right lymph node is always swollen. I have a enlarged nodule on the right. Its not painful but can get a little hard sometimes. Sometimes it is noticable and sometimes it goes down. The thing is I definitely have the ingrown hair condition HS so idk if that means anything on top of this my white blood cells are lower than normal as well as my vitamin D so tbh idk but I'm just a believer in Christ and I know that whatever is going on.. I'm covered by his grace. It's just that I feel whenever I go to the doctor for anything I never get a answer so I'm over it

One of the most worrying things I see on websites that is so misleading is "if you have a swollen lymph node, it is not always cancerous" implying it often is cancerous the reality is it isn't and stuff like this is ALL over the Internet.

How did it turn out? Have them look at the thyroid as well, sometimes what happens there spreads to the closest lymph nodes.

I've struggled with health anxiety my entire life. I had a respiratory infection about 5 weeks ago, saw a Dr., and I pointed out a swollen lymph node that they of course said was no issue. Here I am still worrying, but this video really helped, at least for today and I am very thankful.

Glad you made this video Cherelle. Currently, I have 3 lumps total. One behind my neck that doesn't hurt or grow bigger and been there 2-3 yrs, one below my chin, and recent one right side of my jaw. The recent one does feel little itchy and flares up in size when I notice it and touch. But the swollen has lessen down after 3 weeks but the lump is still there just like the two other ones. It is tender hardness like the feeling of touching your knee tendon and small marble size. Same with doctor and PA said "nothing to worry" about and it not going away just plain droves you to insanity and makes you feel like you might have cancer where affected person would usually don't feel pain from their body until it gets chronic condition. Sometime, I feel the medical field may not not fully understand this health condition to explains why those lymph node stays there for a long time after our body responds to fighting off an infection.Other you KZbin videos esp so called-specialist makes it looks like we need to surgically removed and it may an extra fat issue that exists affecting blood circulation.
