I didn't know this was an Aussie band. I wondered why it wasn't a hit overseas, and why this video has only had 110,000 views. I reckon it would still be a hit today in other countries.
@bobwalsh172 Жыл бұрын
Viewing from England. Yep - it'd have been a hit here too, if it'd been released and promoted here...! I only know about it because of Spotify's Discover Weekly algorithm, which sent it my way a few months ago.

Always gets played on digital radio station called the nineties. Due to no back announcement (or dj for that matter), i had no idea what it was called, especially since i mondegreened the title line. I thought it was "up all night". Thank god for rage cos it had a nineties special with this track. My eyes were watering waiting for that simple white track title and band name to appear. We were so lucky in the nineties. I would have gone even harder if I had known what was coming.

I vaguely remember seeing this group in a dingy underground live venue in Newtown, Sydney before anyone really knew who they were. I don't think this song had been released at that time and had only just put out the Thriller album and Everybody Loves the Sunshine single.

These were the days when I would watch Rage and Video Hits every weekend. In addition, I collected almost every music, film, and television magazine I could find, and I would put up almost every poster those magazines had in them, especially those with Neve Campbell, Jennifer Garner, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, or Tasma Walton, as they were my celebrity crushes at the time.
