Sword Art Online Abridged Episode 13 -REACTION- The importance of Roleplaying etiquette

Hello I am the antagonist advocate some guy on the internet with a passion for stories and a preference for thier villians.
Through this channel I'm hoping to give a look into a bunch of anime I've missed (and maybe some I haven't) and put a spotlight on the writing in them that makes us love them so much.
I'm planning on watching anime, possibly cartoons, and movies with who knows what else in the future.

one of my favorite things in this episode is when Kirito is reading the box, the SWE crew completely wrote a whole longwinded description + joke on the back. Specifically the scene you're looking at at 6:38 of this video

If you loved this episode you'll probably continue to love the rest of the season. It's a ton of riffing on MMOs, roleplaying, and some other stuff. It's a fun time, and you seem to be getting most of the references and such so that's great. Also the back of the Alfheim case has text on the back that Kirito doesn't audibly read. If you wanna know what it says it's: Choose from one of the nine faerie races and learn the valuable life lessons like sharing, table manners, and aerial combat supremacy! In the skies of Marshmallow Island, children will make lifelong friends with their fellow faeries or lay them to waste with the game's intricate spellcraft system. Also colouring! Get ready for a world of learn-venturing as you make your way through the nine amazing biomes, like forest, desert, cave, another forest, and circus! Alright, sir. That's about the most positive write-up I can think of for the back-of-box stuff. Considering this game has been the biggest soul-sucking shitshow of my career, I think this sells it pretty well! But at least it's all over now. I can finally get home and sleep in my own bed again. A bed that is now empty because DEBRA LEFT ME! SHE TOOK THE KIDS, MAN! But what the fuck ever. Can you just look this over and get back to me with any changes/corrections ASAP? I just wanna wash my hands of this weeping anal fissure of a "game".

Also, another thing that causes inverted control preferences is flight simulators, because that’s how the controls on a plane actually work. Kinda makes sense it would be the default in a game with a flying focus like that

If you want to see where the Tiffany voice debuted, you should watch Octopimp's Free! abridged series, 50% Off. It probably doesn't sound like your sort of thing from what I know of you (which isn't much, admittedly), but I promise it's hilarious, and not enough people react to it. And it's finished, not ongoing like SAOA. They sometimes fold jokes from the bonus episodes into the main show, so it's important to watch everything in order, but there's a playlist that has everything from start to finish so that shouldn't be too difficult.

This season felt random and desperate, at first. It wasn't until Episode 16 where all the moving parts came together. So far, season two of SAO Abridged is the better season. Let's just hope they stick the landing going forward.

I always thought that inverted controls came from air-planes, where you pull back to go up.

I don't know if inverted controls in games originally come from the way airplanes control. (where you're controlling the flaps to point down sends you up and vice versa) but what I was talking about more applies to why people tend to use inverted controls in first person games like COD or Skyrim, which sound like madness to me.
