Before he knows it, Kirito has made a full-dive into an epic, fantasy-like virtual world. With only a murky recollection of what happened right before he logged in, he starts to wander around, searching for clues.
He comes upon an enormous, pitch dark tree (the Gigas Cedar), where he encounters a boy.
“My name is Eugeo. Nice to meet you, Kirito.”
Although he is supposedly a resident of the virtual world - an NPC - the boy shows the same array of emotions as any human being.
As Kirito bonds with Eugeo, he continues to search for a way to log out of this world. Meanwhile, he remembers a certain memory deep down within him.
He remembers racing through the mountains with Eugeo as a child… A memory that he should not have in the first place... And in this memory, he sees someone other than Eugeo, a young blond girl.
Her name is Alice.
And it is a name that must never be forgotten…

This series is huge, the first 48 episodes used the first 9 novels if I remember correctly. This series spans over 10 novels just to give you a rough estimate.

I hope so.... it's super long. Season 1 covered 2 1/2 volumes. Season 2 covered 3 1/2 volumes. Alicization is 10 volumes long. So.... yeah.

Was it the Calibur arc that you couldn’t get into? If so, that one is just 3 episodes long and is quickly followed by Mother’s Rosario (a great arc in my opinion). The story of Alicization is connected to previous arcs. If you’ve watched up through Phantom Bullet, you should understand almost everything in this arc, but there is a significant connection to Mother’s Rosario much later on.

Cassarah Calzada Phantom Bullet is the third arc. The first two arcs are Aincrad and Fairy Dance. The one you couldn’t get into is Calibur (the really short one).

Close, it isn’t the last story arc though. That title belongs to Sword Art Online: Unital Ring. That one is confirmed to be the final arc in SAO, currently it’s only in light novel form as of this comment. But I’d safely bet it’ll get an adaptation eventually.

I got you fam This company called RATH hires Kirito to try out this Soul Translator that interfaces right to your soul. It is so good you can't tell if you are in a VR world or the real world. Well one day Kirito wakes up in the Underworld which is in the Soul Translator and he tries to get out. He meets this guy named Eugeo and Kirito finds out the Eugeo is a NPC even with his human like emotions. Kirito remembers Eugeo and this other girl when they were young but he shouldn't because he is in the Soul Translator. So that is a brief summery of SAO 3.

UW is not a game. is a VR world that using for top secret experiment, SLT is the machine using to dive in this VR world and is using basiclly human soul to do that,Kirito is kid in this world because he soul just restart. This is his part time work so no one except him can go to this world. 2. the other two is Eugeo and Alice, they are Kirito best friend in UW (in this time Kirito doesn't had real life memories) after that Alice get arrested by some kind of knight . 3. Kirito get revenge by the third Death Gun and some how go to UW again ( this time he does had real life memories ) and met Eugeo. After that he decide find a way to get out of UW and help Eugeo saving Alice. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH
