There are good things in the game, but way too many problems. Just like other SAO games I only speak for the facts it may sound ugly. Some might like it some might not, but there are more problems that I’m not listed yet cuz this video can be even longer. The only thing about the game is fun to me everything else is alright. People can overlook at all of these problems and believe it’s the best game. It ain’t I hate to say it, at least not right now. The player base already dropped a lot just in a month. Nonetheless, I will still cover it as I usually do until I want to stop.

The goat always speaks for the truth unfiltered that’s why I love it. This game is honestly not as good as many people think. Way too many problems, and imbalances. Character abusers, hackers, and afk users fill with lobbies. There’s nothing to do after I finished level 100 beside just doing the same maps for other characters. RNG is garbage even after they buffed the rates… it makes no difference to me. The game is way to simple and easy. Just like you said it’s fun everything else it’s meh. I’m only play it because it’s SAO that’s all there’s to it.

I think the biggest thing this game is missing is unique builds. For example for kirito: when unique skill is active if u use 3 skills in a certain time window you can use ur ult (AL playstyle). So u choose to play kirito like normal with full critrate elemental dmg or use this build with cooldown accesories. For eugeo each time you activate EA ult activate, 50s cooldown. Of course for this to work they would have to increase rates and do something like chip fusion in FB but this and more chars can make the game awesome.

@@neovpx9864 unique builds lack in the game is just one thing, I’m not sure if the devs made this game they consider at all. Basically just passive and gears at this point not much of diversity. We can’t use it whenever we want have to wait till it’s full it sucks so bad. AL change the super art into whenever it’s the best thing there is to it. It’s already as hard as it is to get those purple gears with an actual useful effects on it because of the drop rate.

At least Long Song tried to have different builds, even if they not the most optional, aside from a few cases where the custom build ended up being better than the preferred canon build. I'm may be indifferent to Lost Song, but least it has decent content variety compared to Fractured Daydream 😂😮 Fractured Daydream has no excuse for not having breaching build paths.

I have like 60h on this game RN. I agree that is it a pretty simple game compared to AL and LR but it is very fun, maybe funnier than LR for me. My main concern with this game is end game content. For now i'm going for platinum trophy and do same bosses and donjeons over and over is pretty disappointing for a game which main focus is multiplayer. To explain my self. it is ok to do same things over and over, but for now there isn't enough end game content to do, there should at least be 4 bosses and 8 DJs to farm

@@Glaurungally that’s been the problem since LR no endgame contents. It’s hard to expect players just grind lvl 100 characters for all of them with no rewards doing so. We need more maps in general, give us 20-30 maps and more raids. There should’ve been 10 maps in the game at launch.

I’m from Asia most of my friends already stop playing after couple weeks it’s boring 🤣. There’s nothing to do, and definitely not worth the full price. Everyone in Asia abuse Yui for dps it’s lame… they need to patch them.

I’m gonna be honest you are too nice for this game. I know you from the past always trying to be mutual about SAO games, or even helping defend it. This game is bad in many ways, it’s just a mobile game that it’s incomplete. In which it’s not worth $60 at all. Besides all of facts you spoke in the video there are far more problems in this game. Lack of contents, no build diversity, stupid extreme raid timer, nothing but repetitive grind your brains out for these gears that don’t drop. Seems like these devs only care about making quick money base on the popularity of FB, and they mess up this game bad. Combat is more of a joke, and things are broken. Connection problems etc. At least you point out these problems unlike some other KZbinrs tried to ride with it “oh it’s a great game” no it’s not. There’s nothing great about it besides just the multiplayer and crossplay.

I got this game, I like it enough. Is it worth $60 or more for the current content offered? No maybe $40. Game has a cash shop where some outfits change the ultimate and it's vague if it's changing the moves or if it's cosmetic. Game does have wonderful maps, but sadly only 2 of them are on free roam. Game has multiple bosses and a few named enemies which is cool, but I think the variety should be a bit varied. Game has Cross Play which is a godsend, however with 3 servers the default is Asia so people who never went to the options wouldn't even know. Asia from America has a strange effect on LLENN's ultimate which sometimes prevents the whole attack from animating, meaning you could wait about 5 minutes to only do 1/3rd of your attack. LLENN needs adjustments, not necessarily buffs because as intended her skills tend to not track and often miss their target, so Skill 1 (Slide) and Skill 2 (Combo) and Ultimate will often miss it's mark even before just saying the boss jumped. Skill 3 works as intended. I don't wanna make the wall of text too much longer but I will say apart of the game is the looting experience, it sucks that as time went by I found more people willing to idle or do tiny actions to prevent the auto kick, I hope there's a way to do something about them. Lasty on PC the game crashes more than normal. I'm sure it's the Easy Anticheat that's causing it, and if it's not that it random server issues, the feeling of the game crashing or server D/C on the last 5% of boss health or just after the kill but before the results or even +40 mins in Free Roam SUCKS. You don't get the loot, or progress...just wasted time. I'm not an SAO fan, but I did like GGO and LLENN and the beta lead me to buy this over Sparking Zero or seemingly GOTY Metaphor Re:Fantasio...slight regrets but I know this kind of game runs out of gas quick so if you're not there at the start...you get there too late to play.

Black op 4 did the same thing they released the game first but it was empty. After that they try to fix it and add stuff in. It’s too late by then player base already left. That’s why I don’t like game companies throwing out games so quick that’s incomplete.

I’m not even a SAO fan just by playing this game I already seeing so many problems you mentioned. There are more to it than what you didn’t want to mention. All these hypes built up was all but for nothing at the moment. Not enough maps, there’s nothing to do after reach level 100. Just gonna wait for more contents to come back. Grinding other characters up it ain’t fun with no maps to play.

I couldn’t even find some full lobbies in Asia server some time. Don’t bandwagon like the other KZbinrs out there people. It’s funny to see some of these people trying so hard to do dps in this game. It ain’t that difficult lmao, use the right effects on the right gears + passives from other characters you are set. Not really sure who’s out here trying to flex on people about their dps. Only scrubs trying so hard on an easy game that requires little learning to do big dps. Only thing we don’t get is the RNG of the gears otherwise everyone can do the same.

RNG elements, alone, has prevented me from getting ANY other SAO game. I despise Japanese developers for thinking RNG elements are an enhancement. It's because they have a mindset that gambling is the best. I don't want to accomplish a task for a CHANCE to get a reward. RNG ruins games.

@@YudaBest I wish that were true, man. As you mentioned in your video, other SAO games had RNG elements. However, THEY are terrible too. I'd rather try to accomplish an impossible task to obtain a guaranteed item, than do the same task OVER and OVER and OVER, for hours.

There’s nothing for me to defend this game. People complain how LR has no contents, and yet this game has less contents than LR during launch day. Devs listen up you don’t just make an incomplete game that has the price tag of $60 and then add more or not at all into the game in the future. Finish the game first before letting people to paid for it and wait for updates. Nowadays these Japanese games and Bandai is unacceptable. There’s nothing to do besides just playing the same maps and leveling up, grinding garbages that’s about it.

My main issue is skill farming; particularly for legendary skills. I spent 4 hardcore days trying to get advanced skill cooldown on crit for support class (to spam Yui orbs). I got the skill twice, for WRONG classes. Better really to deal with the hand you're dealt and build someone you do have the resources for but I don't want the game deciding who to main. Purple skills are easier, particularly on the Asian server but even then you can spend days not getting the ones you want. Some people just seem to "get luckier than others" making a specific build.

@@KingX it’s every hard to build a specific build. I usually just use what I have and what I can get in the game. Which is why can’t really have the best build if don’t have the gears that needed.

Other than the drop rng, which got fixed since this was recorded it looks like, the biggest problem is definitely the player count. This was totally ok in Fatal Bullet cause there was just more going on in general, endgame was not easy for most builds. Everyone is required to be on their toes to ensure the match doesn't end early in lou of running out of lives. In Daydream, it doesn't matter who you play as, so long as you're having fun with the playstyle, which is a huge problem with a game this easy. I'm never worried about the end result with boss fights, so I play free roam a lot since I can choose what difficulty I'm experiencing. For me that's really not a problem cause I found the fun, but I'm totally discouraged from playing in huge parties. Having 20 people is a scary carry. Hopefully we get some slightly more complex endgame soon. Great video and thoughts from dabest.

@@jonmadden7161 yes the biggest problem is the 20 players it’s not as good as it says on paper. It makes no challenge, and a lot of the time nothing really happened in matches. Not much going on some times during a match. Feels like other players can just sit there and the fight would be over.

Imagine asking the goat/legend of SAO who is been doing it for years. Who carried the community through couple SAO games to prove himself to hit big dps in this game 😂. Those people are funny as f. He doesn’t need to prove anything for these clowns. I’m not a mastered of the other SAO games yet I can do it in this game, it tells you everything you need to know. If it weren’t for him AL/LR wouldn’t even be a thing. So many players were able to learned and enjoyed the game like myself it’s all thanks to him. These people needs to chill on a game like this, and rather try to flex on an easy game go do it in other more complex games instead.

Just like you said other SAO were ok it’s the same for me in this game. Letting people know what’s there to the game is always something I do. I’ll play it, but it doesn’t mean I gonna ignore all these problems just like every other SAO games. You might be fine with it, but there also others are not. Since this game affects majority of player base because it’s multiplayer only. It’s not a solo game where you don’t have to have players to play with.

If they don’t do anything to help this game out you can play as long as you want when not a lot of people is even on the game no more. If the majority of the player base dies there’s nothing left to play with besides bots. Even most of the lobbies are empty as hell. EU is dead, NA some left, Asia not like during launch it’s quite empty here and there. You are lucky this game can do different regions otherwise no body play with you at all in EU server. Just like I had to deal with it.

Honestly, I found Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is a massive letdown in nearly every aspect. Despite having better visuals than it's peers, Fractured Daydream is a major stepback compared to the gameverse games. The game is so devoid of meaningful post game content that is not tied to live service BS, which you can't barely play properly as the EU, NA and even the Asia servers are dry and players are getting full bot teams meaning you get less EXP and quality rewards. Not to mention, the game modes are super repetitive and not in a good and satisfying way, with atrocious exp gain for characters, battle pass and player level as well poor RNG loot generation. The lack of build variety compared to Relink and other games of it's nature really hurts freedom. Not to mention the Free Rom and Survival mode is a joke, as not only it feels lacklustre to play, but you can't even have your own team of bots to fight alongside you unlike Relink. After two weeks, I just bored and fed up with this game that I pretty much uninstalled it from my PS5. Such a shame that DIMPS dropped the ball badly that it feels like a active regression compared to Fatal Bullet, let alone Hollow Realization, despite the latter not being developed my DIMPS.

1. It’s not a review get it right. 2. There are no contents in the game 6 maps 5 bosses, no solo, no offline, terrible grinds. Nothing to do. 3. Learn how to read a titles on YT before concluding your thoughts, or insulting someone else. 4. Learn some history of the past games and current situations in this player base, and why people are outrageous. Player base is down to little to none less than a month. Don’t watch one video then give your conclusions. 5. Quit complaining about it and leave if the contents aren’t for you.
