To clarify this is for SS Mastery Farming. Remember 100 is 1 Star, 1000 is 2 stars, 10,000 is 3 stars.

Why is "Mastery of Martial Arts" important? Is it for the glitch of what?

I do have one question. Do you happen to know what benefits mastery gets you? I dont see any difference in power or modifiers so im wondering if its something else.

Damage modifying it is too early to tell because of stats. Sword skill damage are based on enemy defense and parameters like DEX/AGL in dagger. It definitely will be damage but that'll be at the end game. For the time being the parameters are too low to see the damage difference. For sacred arts it'll be damage or charge time or range or a mixture. Mastery will definitely play a big role. Most importantly the damage difference will begin at 2 stars. 3 stars in all SAO has been unnecessary but 2 stars has always been needed to clear end game content. Hopefully that helps and maybe saves you time to focus on the right things.

@Introvice well I don't know if it's a hidden modifier but I'm physically comparing say Sanka Mastery 0 to 2 and everything, down to the description, power and modifiers seems to be the exact same. Numbers included I mean.

@@Shinstrikex it'll do something for sure but we definitely won't see it yet. 25%, 50% and 100% respectively to stars won't make much of a difference with how our stats look currently. It's always been a staple of all of their games since Hollow fragment. If I do find out if it makes a difference or not I'll pin on this video.
