i find it so much harder to do on mcc than on classic. i used to run this game on classic 7 years ago and could do it so easy. i’ve been trying to get good at it on mcc but it just doesn’t happen as easy on 60fps

Hard agree. On MCC it’s different, they tried to replicate the function because it was patched out for MP originally. I also find it easier in classic

If you're on PC, it's probably because your higher frame rate makes the frame perfect inputs harder.

It does, we apparently just suck at it. Been trying this for nearly a decade and can still only do it on classic😂 Edit: it works, I just got it but only a couple times. The timing feels very weird to me

Pretty sure the non sword weapon you have out before doing the button combo, you have to make sure its not fully loaded. aka fire a few bullets, then try the method. Reload cancel won't work if you can't reload if that makes sense.

it is hard to learn but keep practicing. it is also possible to press the buttons TOO fast, hope this helps :)

whats funny is I also find doing the butterfly trick easier on Controller too, cuz you mentioned the sword fly trick is easier on controller lol

I can’t get it. How fast do you have to do it? As fast as possible? or fast but definitively hitting each button individually? Idk how to ask specifics on button pressing…ha

they have to be individual inputs but first is whatever your weapon switch is, then the reload button, and then shoot button.
