there is separate dying and injured state in the game. My guess is that the skill is translated wrong and includes both of them.

it's separate, but they are not mutually exclusive, you can't be dying without being injured the easiest way to see it is with the moon tarot, it says it heals if you are injured, but it will also heal if you are dying

auguste and tristan in the same team both aggression and union with leader auras from gloria and nonowill seems solid. 5th man would be homa, another aggression unit and also Auguste's best support

Homa is Auguste best support at least one of them. Auguste because weakness is lack of mobility which she can give him.

i will forever love Auguste for finally silencing Lutfi once and for all, but Tristan is just too cool. Destroyer, and pretty much an upgrade to my main man Guzman in many ways: strike back, self harm, has to be killed twice. Ill definitely be pulling her.

From what I see about Tristan, with her Astral equip maxed, she has higher burst damage, but it doesn't last much, so if the fight is not a fast one, I can see Auguste surpassing her damage, because he has better sustain DPS. So, in my opinion, they don't overlap.

Yea, its as much as I mentioned but there are a lot of tower of adversity modes where high burst is wanted right off the bat to clear fodder enemies and then focusing down a boss. but this is due to them matching latest released units.

You could use Princess Prayer from Ina to gave Tristan more Act to fight.

Auguste > Tristan because you either get lucky in TOA to get her trinket or pull for it in the weapon banner...

She about just as good as him without it. The point of going for her over him from my perspective is more the opportunity cost of potentially missing Homa and Tair.

I think a lot will but funny thing is once she comes up my advice if you end up getting Auguste will be to skip her, opposite of what I am saying now. But we will have a similar siution when Tristan comes up with needing to decide on whether to save for alt Safiyyah or not.

nope, its a skill equipped inherently from her trait.

Wait... I just realized if you are in the very low hp state, you wont benefit from burning blood, in which case there is an anti synergy in regards to her signature amulet and her rage activation. Does this mean you actually dont take burning blood as a skill in most cases? im so confused

That passive also throws me off as well. I hope its a translation issue and includes dying but due to the healing being reduced by 80% it is very easy to heal up to the injured state from the dying state to trigger it but it seems like bad design if true.

I had a question I thought you might be able to answer. In the event Voyage of Discovery for the final battle one of the random enemy buffs I got was "[active on the enemy] fixed damage reduced by 90%"...do you know what fixed damage is in SoC?

do you mean the one thats percentage based and piercing damage? That one is for your percent type attacks like what a lot of Safiyyahs attacks do.

Carry over for debut and dual banner are different but you'll get a legendary at 100th pull no matter which banner (Shared)

Debut and Dual Banner have separate pity If u pull on Nungal Nergal banner, then it's only carry to other Dual Banner that replace them If u have Pity on Saffi, u can see different pity count between saffi and 2 Hangeman Banner, only pity on Saffi Banner will carry over to Auguste Banner next

Tristan is the more versatile of the two but she is a ways off.

Not a complete replacement but she can fill his slot in a Union team. In a perfect world I would for sure want both and I plan to do that but I have spent money. Its just much harder to find equivalent units in the support roles vs the DPS ones. Ultimately its whatever you find the most fun because save pulls for future units is not going to be good if you end up quitting the game before you even get there.

People probably going to laugh at me for saying this. I got Samatha as my healer (and Cocoa as tank). Currently this setup with Samatha equipped with the right Tarot, she is able to cast her ultimate (the aoe dmg reduction and healing thingy) unlimitedly without any CD. I have bad lucks with my pulls, but Sam + Cocoa have me clear every hardest event along with non-t0 units like Faycal and Rawiyyah.

Taair is NRG, Speed and Move Buff unit Those are really needed to full combo before enemy act One of T0 who can't be replaced
