Sword of Omens 1:1 Scale Prop Replica Unboxing! (Factory Entertainment limited edition)

In this video, I unbox the 1:1 scale limited edition Sword of Omens prop replica from Factory Entertainment. This sword is from the beloved 80s cartoon, Thundercats and is inspired and modeled that the sword Lion O uses in the show. I purchased this replica over a year ago from Sideshow and could not wait to do an unboxing video and add the sword to my growing collection.
The sword is over 40 inches in length and features the Eye of Thundera on one side of the hilt with the Thundercat symbol on the other. It also comes with a stylized mounting plaque.
This also pairs well with the He-Man Power Sword replica I reviewed in a previous video that was also from Factory Entertainment.

Wow that thing is awesome. For the price point though I would like it to light up the eye.Sight beyond sight. Both heman and sword of omens are the most iconic cartoon swords of all time I think. Would love to own both and I'm not really a sword collector. 👍 😉 GREAT REVIEW DUDE.

Man I like it but it looks plastic the hand grip and the green on the sword is not how I remember it or see it. Fire and Steel looks beautiful but the eye of thundera looks plain. This has the shape but the hand grip and eye of thundera looks plastic. totally will pass on this.

Are you happy with the amount of plastic used on these swords? Before I saw your review I was very interested in buying both swords because by looking at the pics I had the impression that they were all metal. Now I'm disappointed.

There is very little if any plastic on the he man sword or sword of omens. The sword of omens has some enamel and acrylic but mainly steel for both. They feel it too with the weight. I would have liked a little more detail on the sword of omens hilt / handle but overall I really like them.

@@theurgeartifacts have you watched and or looked at photos of the show lol, its black is most frames, mabby in the 2011 itteration but not the 1985.

I’ve only watched the 85 version growing up. I’ve only seen silver. Maybe there is some shadowing in the grip? Even the video clips and pictures I posted in the video show it as grey and I googled to find black but couldn’t find it. Im open to look if you have something to direct me to though

The QC is absolute trash with these. Just got mine today and I’m sending it back. Its quality of maybe $150-300 sword. Mine came wrapped really nicely but the sword was all dinged up on the inside. Horrible!

$600 for a pile of inaccurate garbage. Wrong color green plus It doesn't even have the teeth grill in the hilt like it always does. I don't understand why it's soo hard to make these things accurate. Ironically enough the Lgn sword that came with the figure is the most accurate sculpt we've ever gotten to date. 😒

Not sure why they couldn’t put the teeth grill in there as well as the lighter green. 100 % accuracy is always preferred but I still like it for the overall display purpose and representation of the show.

It’s roughly 10 lbs. it didn’t come with the Claw Shield buuuuuuuut, wait until you see my next video I’m posting this weekend 😏
