I'm imagining Tom's tree man lord without a boat, just floating around, like driftwood, occasionally waking up finding loads of gold/ items. So he just puts out his arm lazily and picks it all up, putting it all in his mouth or a compartment of his giant tree body. Then goes back to sleep floating around until the next 10,000 gold knocks into him and wakes him up again.

Ben always upgrade your minor settlements. You get growth faster that way and its actually quicker for getting max level in the major settlement if you upgrade all the smaller ones and build food stuff.

Hey Ben, hot tip here. In the battle where the High Elves sallied forth you were the defending army, you should have stayed back and made a defensive line waiting for Tom to come to you. It was his job to attack you because if time ran out then he'd have lost. Sea guard can't fire their bows while moving so he'd have had to set them in range to attack, have them stop and THEN shoot which means you would have spent less time getting shot.

Allwn0 but their sea guard can shoot further than any of dark elves archer, which is bullshit and almost broken in early game.

It would have been a tough battle no mater what. Tom made a mistake which Ben failed to capitalize on. He split his force, best bet for Ben was to engage the smaller force, crush it quickly using Snek to "terror" low moral troops or go straight for their general. Crush that army quickly then go into the conveniently placed forest in between, giving you cover from the arrows from the reinforcing army. Still a tough battle anyway.

3333Cortez yeah, Bens better at grand strategy and planning, but when its crunch time in combat its all about Tom being able to make sense of the chaos. Plus Ben tends to get caught up and just watches units fight lol.

I had a Kroq-Gar turned Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur fight in a hero battle when I finished him, and he went up against Archaon, since you kind of have to kill him or he'll win everything. I managed to miss every single attack, and then Archaon went on insta-killed me with his sword with the double 6. I didn't even get a save. The GW employee running the thing then went and put a bunch of red paint where I died.

For me, back when I was building a 40k Tyranid army, it was pretty much a guarantee that whatever model I'd put the most effort into would either get _mercilessly_ slaughtered, or fail me at a pivotal moment. On a slightly related note, I feel that the same thing happens in Shadow of War. If I make someone my Bodyguard and invest time and resources into them, it's just setting me up for an emotionally devastating betrayal in the near future.

At my local games workshop a few years ago they did a special tournament game to create a lord and see how much chaff they could kill before being overwhelmed. I spent weeks converting and painting a Saurus oldblood lord. It was an older warhammer edition, so he was kinda op, with a -1 plus save and 6 strength 6 attacks. First round against 50 zombies I completely fluffed my rolls, killed nothing and the 3 zombies that could hit me back managed to take all 3 of my wounds. Its safe to say I retired that model instantly.

On that point about freshly painted model syndrome. Playing as warriors of chaos. I had a Demon Prince first time I had ever fielded one. 1 Ogre Ironblaster sniped it from my back row. Failed my 2+ ignore first hit roll from charmed shield. I won that game but my opponent certainly won the morale victory haha

While I would love to see that, the only options are crooked moons, bloody handz, and the main greenskins. Both Skarsnik and Wurrzag are fun, but Grimgors black orc hordes stomp them both. Realistically, it would have to be orcs v something else, which they already did. I would like to see a skaven v lizardman game.

Ben you need to get witch elves and harpies before you can go to war properly with the high elves. A complete lack of sword units this point for the high elves will allow harpies and witch elves to destroy them

Ben islands don't have random swing if u hover over them they have names and set ones give you set things skull island thingy will always give 10k and an item and so on.

Why do i get a feeling that Ben will be unable to take Arnhiem? Also, never take hawk riders, they are trash, only usable when the enemy has no range and even then it has a really low damage output and lose most basic range units of other races.

They aren´t bad you just don´t use them for range but for getting enemy skirmishers and back charges. They are only worth it when the enemy has no air of their own though.
