they changed prowler a lot, ceiling isn't as high as it used to be but you get hella customisation now and they made it easy to get exactly the skills you want now. but you do need to know which skills to use to get there gatherer and healer are really powerful ranged options. if you combine piercing boomerangs and big boomerangs they can rival weapon damage, and healer is really comfy to solo with. beast and tank are the melee styles, they're pretty obvious, beast has the longsword style upgrade mechanic and guard has the adept guard which is very powerful. bomb prowler are kinda the balanced option, can do both ranged and melee but not quite as powerful as the specialists. they do get adept evades though which is nice I enjoyed toying around with them a lot. the quests treat them like a lesser option, which they are if you just grab a random prowler, but they're _really powerful_ if built. also they're cute :3

@@Mooriarty_ yeah I remember back in generations it was the big/piercing boomerangs combo that made them often out perform hunters if you played them right
