His render of the F-95 Morningstar is why it's one of my favorite fighters in the franchise. In my head, that's just what it looks like, now.

The Rapier will be my favorite go-to fighter. Sadly, the Cats made missile tech that could take them out pretty fast and started to account for more combat deaths than any other fighter. As Iceman once said, it may have God's shields but when that is gone it's got no more armor than a hornet. CGI like this just makes me with there was a Wing Commander Strategic simulator 4x or at least a Wing Commander MMO. Oh well.

Looking at the Animations, it's waaay extra polished and the Idea of combining the 10 year gap between WC1-2 smoothly with the Kantai Suite BGM... worth it though. Fubuki's Husbu approb!

I have many nitpicks against the series (the unwieldy non-Gouraud/3D graphics and WC2's torpedo run mechanics among them), but those cutscenes are never among them at most. So, who are the Shields of Confed as an aside?
