this won't do anything to swordsoul. It's legal in MD and at 3 in OCG and swordsoul hasn't been doing anything. I love swordsoul but this doesn't do anything at all, baronne was probably more important to swordsoul than protos

I mean to be fair nib kills a lot of decks that’s why people have been running it. But swordsoul can make chaofeng pretty easy to stop nib. So now you’ll be able to light lock/fire or dark. I’m trying to find ways to throw colossus in there rn too😂

Unfortunately chaofeng isn't a practical solution to NNibiru.You have to skip making Chixao to make Baxia first, then make Chaofeng. By the time you get the light lock, you've wasted enough resources to make anything else. Chaofeng alone is a bad endboard to sit on @coders1786

Protos in swordsoul is a bait. Unfortunately most swordsoul players will fall for it thinking it fixes the deck. The deck needs to be built more around its weaknesses instead of endboard spam.

Going to be wierd playing with no baronne cause it has been such a staple, but we can still rock with choas angel, choafeng and protos for protection during our turn.

With barrone gon i play a ICE barrière engine. Lancea (New synchro) Trishula (if op pop lancea, trush come tu punish it) Georgius (ICE barrière Monster Reborn and abyss deweller effect) Raiho (floodgate that forcing OP to discard if he want activate a Monster effect) Warlock (fragrance effect)

Too many bricks to be reliable. Also you have to run high wyrm count for swordsoul to work reliably in itself. You're better off playing pure ice barrier.

@@KamonYGO yeah man I have been playing swordsoul for about a year now and never was able to play with protos but I have been a fan of it since I picked up the deck. Also man I watch your vids like crazy to try and get better with it and to see what flair works that I can put my own spin on. I had a build that ran the nemesis monsters (corridor,flag, the water guy for extenders).

The only way to combo and play valdrath wyrm lvl 10 xyz is to use the yang zing engine tbh. Otherwise it's hard to combo off and summon.

Agreed. I think while overrated, it is still a toxic card that shouldn't have been unbanned. Baronne ban IMO was good though

Happy to see ss got something to play with, but honestly and with no hate I think the deck is more dead then ever.. It now will loose to nib every single time no matter what hand you opened with and no matter how well you played 😢

Yes and I do agree with the 3 crossout now being mandatory, however if a deck has to rely on opening a specific card to be able to play around/through nib it's usually not in a great spot. Have you considered ttt in the main deck on top of crossout? It can sorta be an equalizer after nib. Btw I haven't played ss in a very long time and might be completely off with a lot of my views, but anyways do hope the deck sees more competitive play, it's one of the few well designed decks lol good but not unfair, also relatively fun/interactive playing against it.
