As a Falco main I always root for Tilde, but I love watching Captaincito play gunner bc he doesn’t just sit back and zone…he brawls up close with that character while utilizing his tools for zoning when at a distance…I do wish he would go back to that white/gold dragon style outfit he wore back during the online stages tho lol

Thats more matchup based. Projectile spam against falco will be punished by reflector. If he was playing against a slow charachter or a swordie hed be camping. Brawling with gunner isnt great youre just forced to against spacies

@@VideoCentral-bh9tf actually, grenade is better because of the safety, how good it is at ledge, how well it works with missle and bomb at building a wall that would make trump squeal with joy, good angle, can be b-reversed to start gundashing, and b-reverse in general for disadv, and it's a consistent multi-hit projectile which is really useful

watching this video for a second time a year later, and 9:15 til 9:55 capitancito didnt roll in once. With all the corner pressure tilde was exerting, and with pressure on capitancito to make his lead count on the last stock, capitancito showed so much level headedness and discipline. It shows his confidence and comfort in staying with his back at the ledge

Most people have no idea how to deal with the mine down B. It was still often useful in this fight, despite Tilde being able to handle it well. He also may not practice reflector or absorber.

Had to stop early to say BRUUUUH! Homie not using Gunner's UpAir, specifically in the situations where it would be optimal, is triggering me more than it should. Like i dont even want to finish the match this is a weird feeling. The last time i felt this way was when a was watching a Hero player *in bracket* refuse to use his menu because "its RNG" (infuriatingly common misconception. Menu is NOT RNG! Other tha Hocus Pocus, Whatever you select is what you get 100% of the time)

Just wait till you hear about "people who play differently than you do". Even then, gunner upair would not be as "optimal" as you put it; it's slow and missing it might mean eating Falco's dair and every subsequent followup. And Hero's menu isn't RNG? Tf you get that from? The moves that appear on menu are all randomized.

tilde got punished for full hop fast fall double jumps over and over again. in all the games he won he mixed that one option up and it completely changed the course of the game. in the last stock once mii brawler got some momentup he was mashing the same thing either landing with airdodge or an aerial. in the games he won hed tomahawk or empty land and uptilt
