great play to Armadillo but its always good to keep in mind character dynamics do shift in an Online environment as compared to Offline. Nevertheless, Armadillo played this really really well, especially calling out alot of Ned's laggier options with shorthop falling backair.

Regardless of comeback mechanics, Armadillo has a serious ability to stay confident under pressure, he never caves or gives up, often bringing ned to potential reverse 3 stock situations.

@ ~ 9:55 when ned loses his stock while switching pokemon, he may have survived if he airdodged away from the blast zone then waited a few frames before switching. when you do a special move *too close to the blast zone, your knockback momentum is continued and you get carried into the blast zone without being able to di.

Tsu literally had to drop him as his main because he's such a high risk medium reward character. It's unfortunate but Lucario IS very much low tier, there are a bunch of other characters that can utilize comeback mechanics without sacrificing early game strength (Sephiroth, Terry, *JOKER*).

@@minixlemonade2335 Tsu concocted strings at low aura all the time. He was an extremely smart Lucario player. Regardless of who is better at playing (not disagreeing if Armadillo is better), Tsu made his Smash career maining Lucario and felt the need to quit Lucario because he needed to main others to make profit from his gameplay investment in Smash. If a player felt who knew all the frame data, safe plays, etc. felt the need to quit a character because they needed to make a living, it seems like a clear sign that the character is weak. Now, I don't mind Lucario being weak. Not every character needs to be good, it's a party game after all. I've only played a few tournaments, but no one could convince me Lucario isn't bad, it's really just that Lucario is not a solid choice to win tourneys.

This set is a good argument for why we need better controls. It was Ned's game to win but he did a misinput. Macros, lack of freedom when it comes to where you want your buttons etc... all weird things that make smash much harder to play then it should be imo. For starters, we should be able to disable flick smashes entirely so we can do tilts by just moving the left stick in a direction and pressing A (and not being punished for trying to do it on reaction).
