SWTOR Bounty Contract Week Guide - The Academy

The Bounty Contract week event is a special event that happens roughly once a month in star wars the old republic. During the event, you can help your faction by taking down key targets in crime syndicates and violent gangs and bring them to justice. The best part of this event is that you can play the part of a bounty Hunter no matter what your class is - even Jedi and Sith can help fulfill these dangerous contracts spread across the Galaxy.
To start the event while it's live, you'll need to be at least level 15, and to have access to the fleet. The introduction quest is located near the northern elevator of the fleet republic side, and near the southern end imperial side - just look for a quest near a bunch of carbonized bounties.
Once you've watched the intro quest, you'll be able to pick up your first contract by heading into the cartel bazaar area up the nearby elevator. To continue the intro quest, speak to the bounty hunter droid.
If you want to check out the bounty contract week rewards, head up to the platform and talk to the vendors that look like bounty hunters. The bounty contract event works on the reputation system - as you complete more contracts, you'll earn more reputation with the Bounty Brokers Association, and the more reputation you have the more rewards you unlock - but you still have to pay for the rewards once you’ve unlocked them.
All the bounty contract week rewards require Completed Bounty Contracts to redeem, earned by completing bounties. The completed bounty contracts are sellable and tradeable, so if you have enough reputation but not enough contracts to get one of the rewards, you could buy some on the GTN from other players.
Rewards for the event included rugged-looking legacy-bound bounty Hunter themed armors, unique mounts, pets, decorations, skins for treek and Hk51 and even legacy-bound bowcasters.

For anyone doing Bounty Hunter Contract week, after the Onslaught update, you can't trade or sell contracts anymore, you can only acquire 1 contract a day on each character now and the complete contract appears in your inventory under the currency tab.

CORRECTION ABOUT BOUNTIES UNLOCKS: You can do one kingpin bounty per character, per day, but you can only do each one once per week. So if you unlock Tatooine and Alderaan kingpins on your Jedi, you'll be able to do Tatooine on Monday and Alderaan on Tuesday, but not on the same day. If you unlocked all the kingpin bounties you would be forced to do one each day if you want to complete them all during the bounty week, and if you missed a day or two you might miss the chance to complete some of them. So if you only have one character this is an option. It's still very beneficial to unlock them across multiple character (ex Tatooine on Jedi and Alderaan on Sith) so you can do them at your own pace instead of being forced to do them across multiple days. If you unlock them across multiple characters you could do them all in one day if you wanted. You can also hold a henchmen and a kingpin, just not ones on the same planet at the same time. Godzilla Gus yes you could hunt down Jedi players as a Bounty Hunter killing them would reward you with millions of credits and originally there was permadeath for the Jedi player.

you can actually do more than one kingpin bounty mission per week, per character. but you cannot, for example, do the alderaan kingpin bounty more than once per week on the same character. so if you wanted to do all the kingpins on one character in one week it is possible, just make sure you're logging everyday.

flashgamer1275 that's correct, you can do multiple kingpin missions on the same character. but you can only one kingpin mission a day and each kingpin mission can only be done once a week. but is repeat next time (you don't need to unlock it on that character again)

My all time high record is 120 bounties in a week, and earning of about 20M credits. For a long time this was my main source of credits, specially when I was preferred. Also, trading in contracts on GTN alone is a business itself.

Ton of credits it is :) While ago, when I was preferred, I managed to collect 60M credits, majority of which was from selling bounties. It is horribly boring, but effective. Also, I do have almost every reward, at least those I care about!

I don't think so, except lightside or Darkside points. Most people kill/spare based on what achievements they need :)

this should be activer all the time. there's never anything to do in t he game once you did all the story stuff. so there's a fall off of playtime and then this is missed entirely sometimes. All this gated rep stuff is what usually has new friends I make quit. That and older cartel armors I have not avail to them on the store ever again (cough, outlaw)

It's ok, that's just for the intro quest. You should be able to just go pick up a bounty from the terminal. Maybe you picked it up in the past already or it is bugged.
