As satisfying as this scene was, I REALLY wish that there was a way to execute or exile Koth as a Light Side player. Say whatever you want about the man, but he's fanatically loyal to Zakuul above everything else, and that includes the lives of anyone who isn't from Zakuul. As I recall, when Lana explains that Valkorion is guilty of murdering millions, Koth literally rebuts her with, "He brought order and stability to Zakuul." I mean, move the words around a little, and you have the perfect citizen of Palpatine's empire, complete with fanatical loyalty like any other cultist.

I can't stand killing good people, even if I play a Sith. Koth wanted Zakuul to be better, not personal gain. To me, he doesn't aggravate me at all. It is also different when I kill a Jedi, because it is a pact to kill a Jedi in a Star Wars game. But when it comes to a human doing whats right (that is not a Jedi), I cannot demolish that.

You are the only thing she is loyal to in the universe, the only thing she has. Her parents are dead, she has no siblings and the sith hate her, as soon as she got word that you were alive she rushed to free you. Without you she has nothing and no-one. While she has questioned your orders a few times, she has followed them duitifully to the letter. She litterally throws herself infront of you to guard you from the blast Theron shot at you. If your will is to leave him there she will not disobey.

tl;dr: Killing Koth was "a singular pleasure." Koth is not the righteous hero he claims to be. If you follow his story, he trapeses around the galaxy after stealing your ship to "help people" but really he's motivated by his own guilt. Senya tells you as much from Koth's military background. What hero builds a weapon of mass destruction into a deadly warship as a failsafe incase someone else (most likely your PC/the alliance) tries to steal it back. He's an entitled sociopath who tells himself and others his motives are altruistic, but are really no better than most of the coniving scum in the galaxy. Also he was obsessed with Lana. If you really love someone, you don't try to keep them from happiness, even if their happiness is not you. He was a liability to the alliance from the start. Heroes don't hardwire massive bombs into stolen deadly warships--and he gets mad at Firebrand for her bombings. Hypocrite.

Lana has always been loyal, she is the commander's best friend and she was even able to take the bullet that Theron fired towards the commander when he "betrayed" him without even hesitating, plus she was the only one who rescued him from the carbonite prison. . At least My Sith Warrior considers her his best friend, since she also has a code of honor and loyalty towards her comrades, even going so far as to threaten to kill Jaesa if she touched a single hair of Lana, the only way she could. Lana could betray you and then have a compelling reason to kill her would be if she killed someone the commander loved.

The main reason I play a Sith species as both a Jedi and Sith is for the Punish ability as its handy to use on Koth when he tries to claim you don't know Valkorian better than him. I have been tempted to kill him myself as he is a pain in the ass, always complaining when you do something to hurt the people of Zakuul who really do need a reality check to get over their sycophantic lifestyle afforded to them by having computers and droids to do everything for them. Koth has his uses but quickly becomes useless as the story goes on.

He's an integral part of the Alliance as I built it. Other than Senya and Arcann, he's the only native Zakuul resident in the Eternal Alliance. It's good to keep him on side for political reasons as well as his technical expertise. While he's not fighting for the Republic or the Empire it's unreasonable to expect him to do so as he was never raised in either environment. I find it's most appropriate to teach him that Zakuul is no better than the rest of the galaxy insofar as it gets no special treatment under the Alliance's jurisdiction but it doesn't serve anybody to ostracize it either. If Koth wants Zakuul to be free of Valkorian's influence, then he needs to follow orders.

Ashley Alexander what’s crazy is my Warrior is pretty light side and I helped citizens when I could, with the idea is their leaders that are the problem. However it was a tactical move to blow up a bunch of factories. People dying wasn’t the goal yet Koth made it seem like I was some heartless killer. Meanwhile, he steals my gravestone, which was at the time, the same as condemning all the alliance, Lana included, to death.

On top of all the other stuff I and others dislike about him, the thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was his near fanatical "faith" in Vitiate despite us literally drawing him a full color picture explaining that he's THE bad guy. Never mind the moral crowing he does but still wanting to play the scoundrel card, he basically contradicts himself as a character archtype and it makes him a pain to interact with.

It annoyed me no end when he tries to claim he knows Valkorian/Vitiate better than you do when he's only seen one side of him while you've seen both sides whether you play Pub or Imp. Hell he destroyed a whole planet just to gain more power. His personal executioner betrays him and switches sides after seeing what he's capable of. Koth only knows him and a benevolent ruler. You'd think the 5 years he'd been working with Lana would have enlightened him, but clearly he'll never get over his sycophantic devotion meaning the only thing to do is end his life. It's a shame they didn't give you the chance to show him what Vitiate was capable of by linking your mind to his via the Force. Also the fact he chose to go rogue after being ordered to fire on innocent people should have been a sign that he was made. Considering Zakuul started the war. The Republic and Empire knew nothing about Zakuul until then so it's not like he could claim that they had been encroaching on their territory. The Eternal Fleet came out of nowhere and started the attack so that alone should have caused him to think long and hard about his Ruler.

Ppl seem to like her with the Inquisitor for their shared intrigue with the force but the Warrior can be considered her other half and completes her character wonderfully. Lana sets up their stage then SW comes in and spearheads it all as they tear the galaxy apart a new LOL. They are the power couple indeed.

That's why Senya could shut him up when she told him they don't wanna compare body counts. He wants what he did to be forgotten, because he was just doing his job and caused "some damage". Yet Senya, who was doing her job in trying to bring a war criminal and deserter to justice, is somehow a monster. You're also misunderstanding something here... People aren't surprised he took the ship because they blew up the Spire. They blow up the Spire for the chance to kill him. Hell, he holds YOU responsible for Vaylin ripping the city apart trying to kill you and tries to ORDER you to fix her damage, while you're still recovering from carbon freezing... AND STILL RUNNING FOR YOUR LIFE. He then suggests you relinquishing control of your body to Valkorion to put him back on the throne. He then doesn't listen to anyone but expects everyone to go along with his opinions, constantly sowing discord with Senya. Koth has delusions of granduer and mistakenly believes himself to be the hero in everyone's story. It's war against the empire you betrayed. You don't get to be skittish. They were told their "Immortal" Emperor was killed by some unknown Outlander with no proof or anything shown and launched an all out war on innocents. He believed that wholeheartedly, but not any of the people who know Valkorion better and on a more personal level than his hero worship. He should've stuck to doing the usual Zakuulian activities to get his thrill instead of playing at war. His childish antics and tantrums put many lives at risk. He was a liability that needed to be dealt with.... and super annoying besides.

@@johannguchte7537 Koth leaves you if you cause disorder by blowing up major infrastructure and their droid guardians, which is not that unusual of a tactic. He also gets pissed if you decide to escape the planet instead of trying to stop a fucking sun generator going off, when the entire point of them being there is to help you escape. He's pretty dumb, what did he expect the rebellion to be? Not just going "Hey kaliyo you're right lets just become straight up terrorists as a major part of our campaign" is pretty nice as far as irl rebellions go, which tend to have plenty of followers.
