Due to the MMO format, characters from the base game and (most of) those from the previous expansions just get shafted as the story progresses. Yes there are exceptions, but save for Lana and few others, none of them seem have any lasting importance. If this were a dedicated single-player RPG, it is likely that the beloved characters would be relevant in the expansions. It makes no sense that the beloved friend and/or significant other that accompanied you for years, sought you out for years more, and has finally been reunited with you, is now just shoved away somewhere in your base tapping on a data-pad while you embark on harrowing adventures without them. I can understand them being busy doing other shit, but so many are back with the player-character and have supposedly have absolutely no sentiments on the current goings on. I just want Vette to be involved again...

The story in SWTOR is great, along with the characters. But the MMO system hinders the game in every way imo. From permanent choices since there’s no save system (and most of them hardly matter, I’m talking of pre-expansion story choices) which won’t allow you to see the different outcomes, the combat can be rather dull, the game has come a lot since it’s release, but then they make creator choices like you mentioned, Lana and Theron pretty much shove all your old companions to the nether, which is such a goddamn shame (hell we had to wait unitl Onslaught just to see Kira again)

@@Lajos_Kelemen They're taking way too damn long to reintroduce everyone. I believe there are STILL characters that are unaccounted for after THREE expansions. I also find it ridiculous that they go out of their way to introduce a whole new game's worth of settings and characters to replace the old stuff, and then they decide that they need to get rid of it all so they can go back to doing the old stuff. They just can't figure out what the hell they're doing. It's all too contrived.

funny but I somehow knew that Theron did all that for a reason but not knowing it would force us to hate him for being a traitor and maybe make us feel guilty for doubting him in the first place, like a test of our trust towards him, yes his betreyal was like a bullet to the heart, kinda not cool (( so what will we do ? forgive and hope that there is an explanation to this or we do all it takes to kill him even after his revelation ... damn the way this plot is twisted just makes this game freaking awesome )) great video )))

Weird, not only i didnt get the scene with Arcann, but i also got the knight of zakuul (the one that is angry because you killed Senya) as part of the fp when i actually saved Arcann (not to mention that in the end i didnt get the influence bonus for chosing to marry Lana)

BF2 was meant to be mostly multiplayer. If you've done ANY research into DICE, you'd find that their story telling is a bit lack luster, and the fact that disney backed it also kinda ruins it further. The BF2 story wasn't bad, but it had terrible writers. At least the gameplay is top notch to back it up.
