I have mixed feelings, I would be much happier now than if I was born in the 90s, probably because l'd be 31 if I was born back then. The 90s do seem great but I like it better now since we have the technology to listen to any song that we want, even music from thousands of years ago.

@@ryderncupcakes Not really, maybe you just don't have people around you that thinks positively.. I don't really care that much about this pandemic (not that I don't really care about it).. I just don't think about it that much, I mean.. it doesn't hurt to look on the positive side of things right? Almost everybody now overthinks about the pandemic and get depressed/anxious and all that stuff.. why don't we just enjoy our life right now while we still have it? The positive things that I see about this pandemic is that we get to spend more time with our family, the days we spent not being with them is kinda paying off right now.. isn't that precious? And also, since a lot of people contribute to destroying nature while everywhere was still populated, now, since the population of people everywhere has decreased, nature could be healing itself, I feel relieved and find that very good. I could go on but those are the two major positive things that I could think of.

It had already started a consecutive two-week run at No. 1 on the R&B chart on 7/3, so it was atop both charts the week of 7/10.

Well..... Not really Im using my moms acc lol i just kinda think in the 2021 other songs are actually better 🙂
Neat piece of trivia, the singer Coko in this group is the mother of Lil Tracy, who hasn't gained the popularity he deserves because his song "Like a farmer" is the "inspiration"(lil nas x basically stole it) for old town road, which gained the most popularity between the 2 songs. It's bad enough that her son didn't get that level of fame, but on top of that, he is still traumatized from the death of his best friend lil peep who he wasn't speaking to when he died. Dude is in and out of sobriety, and I couldn't say I blame him.

90's had the best of all music, it seems. Back then, I listened to everything from SWV, to Snoop/Dre, to Sarah Mclachlan, to Kenny Wayne Shepherd, to Alice In Chains...and everything in between. As far as I'm concerned, it was the most diverse generation of great music. There was good music for everyone who was into any genre, whether it was rap, R&B, pop, electronic, folk, singer/songwriter, blues, heavy rock, punk, grunge, or metal. I think the 90's was the last era of individuality in music. Now everything is so blended together, that you almost can't tell what genre of music you're even listening to. Sadly, as the music has become less and less diverse, so has my taste for it. At least I have the good ol' days to fall back on. I feel sorry for kids today, being that they're completely stuck with so little good music.
