Pro R, just because I think it will become a beast further down the line. Engine upgrades, Turbo kit, motec stuff and so on. If it can hold anything like a honda k, not that I would know if it does or not, but 6-700hp is not just a dream then in a sxs without having to swap an engine and still keep it a 4 seater. Well... The 4 banger would make a cool high compression / high reving NA build. A true all motor screamer around 300HP would be a blast. We’ve seen turbos now let’s see a NA build. Or even just a nitrous build. Whatever y’all decide to do will be interesting though with having such a large displacement SxS engine.
@justinranes33512 жыл бұрын
That engine is already really NA performance oriented and tuned. they have the VE pretty much maxed out on that thing straight from Polaris to run 91/93 gas. The only thing you could do is swap out for lighter forged parts and do a higher compression piston but you’d have to run E85 or m5 race gas

That was the video I've been waiting for someone to make. I've seen drag races with modified X3's but that's the first one I've seen with a bone stock one. I thought for sure the X3 would take it. @rhull39392 жыл бұрын
@@SXSBlog ok, ok, ok. That makes sense to me. I know horsepower is torque compared to rpm so I guess you can get it in the ballpark with torque compared to speed with the brainiacs dialing in the dyno for tire size and approximate gear ratio etc with a CVT. I guess it's all the same but you have to be close on the difference between engine rpm and tire RPM. Just starting to learn about this stuff and it's fascinating. Thanks for answering Leo. I know that's you. Haha. So what kind of inputs do you have to plug into the dyno to get an accurate number with a CVT?
