I got in a minor head on collision snowmobiling one time. The skis toed in hard. It was a rough 20 miles to a family member’s house to kind of do an alignment that still didn’t help bump steer for the next 80 miles home. It did enough to skip 2 ponds and survive a 10ft drop off a retaining wall that saved 5 miles and recrossing the ponds, but that was lots of extra work. Honestly a great adventure that I remember as well as the best day riding ever.

I flew up to Mt. Everest with just a T-shirt, shorts, and sandals, using my superhuman powers. It was insane as I slipped and fell down a 1000ft cliff, ending up breaking my pinky toe. It didn't make any difference when they were running can-am. They still broke them every trip. The only real difference I can see is that one is faster in stock form over the other. They both have weak points that break a lot, and they cost to much to get the best of the line.

@Doug why don't you embed temp sensors inside the clutch covers on your machines? That way you can keep an eye on things and slow it down before belts break?
@BlueSharkRides Жыл бұрын
I'm shocked the Leo's Pro R blasted LaRues X3 and kept up with their Pro R. Those cars are insanely fast. Matt is also a pimp for jumping in and ripping the arm off the Pro. We all need a friend like him! Also Doug I love the makeshift sand sock on the clutch cover but you don't need to run a cover at the dunes. Taking it off keeps the belt temps way lower and you just have to blow out the clutches after a couple rides. People have been going at it for years with no issues, just avoid water haha.

It’s so awesome that Polaris gives out free parts at Camp RZR. That is top notch customer service and a great way to get loyal customers. Makes me want to downgrade from a YXZ to a ProR (just a joke- the Pro R obviously superior). Btw who would have known the front lower ball joint/ knuckle was a weak point lol.
@RockingJOffroad Жыл бұрын
Polaris having free parts and service is great, however it just makes me wonder why Polaris doesn’t upgrade their parts! If they know what parts to bring, then they know what parts need upgrading!

@@RockingJOffroadjob security for all those guys in the shop that fix these things for people that don't want to do it or can't on their own. Whenever I decide to invest on an off road rzr. I'll be sure to have a jack, tool kit, extra belts...ect seems like reoccurring patern of belts always wearing out on these dunes. Could start a a mobile garage on wheels with another trailer for parts forsale. Even have a vehicle to tow with and provide a type of front ski so if tire comes off the ski can easily mount on too surf the sand dunes back to trailer.
