You guys need to check out glamis north it's on the other side of the Salton sea and it's not sand it's ocotillo wells style dirt and there's a cool shanty town called slab city out there it used to be an old army base with a bunch of cement slabs that homeless people build these houses out of anything pallets old trailers some new trailers they all shower in this old hot spring that the military dug super deep and it heated by the Earth's crust and there's a bunch of amazing art out there and there's snow birds that live there in the winter because it's nice weather compared to where they are from some people from Alaska, south Dakota places like that in the negatives in the winter and then they go home in the summer because it's 120 in glamis and glamis north

You all get this far west, you should swing through Utah and hit the Little Sahara Dunes with Sand Mt. Olds hill in Glamis is what, 300ft high? Sand Mt is 700 ft and much steeper. Its a blast to run. Big sweeping dunes and bowls behind it on the west side. Lots of obstacle type dunes on the north end.
@____MC____2 жыл бұрын
That hill thats closest to the fence line with like a 20ft run is the best hill. No whoops on it cause no one rides up it

The whoops at Old's is most duners kryptonite, it takes time to get your suspension tuned right hit that section. I've seen 400+ HP can-ams hit it full throttle with no issues with properly tuned suspension.

Bummer Rick. Been there done that. First time we made the 800 mile trip to G I backed off the trailer, stood on the throttle, and blew the side out of a built VW Bus transmission. This was when I admitted to myself that I could not put 350 ponies at that trans. Did the right thing tho, doubled the HP and went to a different type trans.

So is the driver of the X3 saying that perhaps a little less horsepower in his desired new x3 would be better for this type of riding? Edit: I quess what I'm really asking is this: Is there a point on side x sides where more horsepower begins to decrease the riders enjoyment. If so what is your opinion of what that is?
@RubbishFPS2 жыл бұрын
Leo kind of touched on that when his machine was making close to 400hp. Said it was scary and basically useless on anything not straight. The turbo lag ruined track use as well.
