I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on an XRC couldn’t financially do it until the 2024 model year. saw a 23 in person at the dealer and it’s probably the nicest color I’ve ever seen on an X3 and now that I am ready to buy. I absolutely despise the 24 red/white color. that’s my luck.

Hey Matt, excellent choice of car! I love my x3 turbo rr, and I'm so happy for you to get one! Hoorah! It's just a really good machine right out of the gate. So, you were talking about a name....I thought since it's going recovery mode, and its gonna "head em up, move em out, ride em in, ride em out, maybe call your B.A. new ride 'RawHide' Recovery. A little homage to the RR in the most literal sense. The Rawhide turbo. Say that a few times. Use it in a sentence. "Sure, let me just go grab the Rawhide turbo and we'll get ya pulled out." Or perhaps, "Shoot, I almost sank out, so I just poured the coals to ol' Rawhide and we climbed right out of it." See? It's a thought...just my 2 cents worth and I'm a penny shy. :) Congrats on your new Can-Am, not all of us can be perfect, that's why they invented the Polaris for the rest of 'em ;)- Thanks guys Come to Idaho, we'll go for a rip.

Hey - I am in the market for my first side by side. Here in Ontario Canada the trails are limited to 65inch max width. Problem is I am a large fella at 6ft and 330+lbs - I am not having trouble in the gut region its upper end and I have sat in a few machines and found my shoulder is either on the outside of the vehicle or like the case of the Yamaha Rmax/Wolverine its crushing me. Yamaha decided to put some stupid plastic shield in at shoulder height and when I had the chance to sit in the vehicle it was torture - so the Yamaha is out. The Kawasaki KRX 1000 is 68inch wide and is disqualified - I was really wanting to check it out. My most success was the x3 DS Turbo but I would need to modify the door so I can actually use both arms when steering - but I think it is doable. I am mostly leaning towards a Rzr Pro XP/x3 DS Turbo/Polaris General/Can Am Commander - I am mostly looking for sport riding, I do like to go fast. Which would you say would offer most cabin space. I haven't sat in all the machines just the General and the x3 DS. I would even consider removing the door or modifying it on the right machine. Thoughts? Opinions?

Congrats Matt...... the only mods you will need is a stage 3 tune with a peddle commander. Then get ahold of Ned at MTS Offroad and get a shock tune. Let Jeep or Ned know it's one of the two tunes they don't use anymore for non smart shock rigs. I had mine tunes in 2018 and they have a trophy of my right front shock on the wall of shame. I can give you suggestions for trail and dune settings. They will be at Camp RZR so make your appointment now.
