I use the tough mudder with a foam cannon from Walmart and it coats it like a snow storm. Might need to adjust the foam level if that one has a dial to do so. I think I'm gonna try both, the simple green mixture did wonders. Our bikes look like the Talon did after mudnats every ride so I think the simple green will break down the thick mud.

Bro’s! I detail sxs’s for a side business I use chemical guys all the time. Next time, pour the soap in the cannon first. 6 oz for that 32 oz bottle, then fill with water. (Warm water if you can) it will give a much thicker foam than wha you had today. 2 bucket method for the wash mitt too. Chemical guys sells grated that you can put in the bottom of the bucket. It helps push the dirt down so it doesn’t stick to the wash mit.

Really like this kind of stuff on this channel, variety is good. Leo that was a hell of a tip on the SC1 being solvent based. I've never really liked the stuff. When I picked my new Turbo S up at the dealer they had soaked the thing in it. I am going to get some of that Zep. Touchless as much as possible, foam cannon preferred. But if you have to use a bucket, use two. Especially on a car. One for loading soapy water onto the mitt or whatever, and another with frequently refreshed clean water, to clean the mitt in after making a pass with it. If you don't do this you risk dragging the dirt right back on to the paint. The simple green deal is another great tip. As a former dirt track racer we used to put ATF in a bug sprayer and hose down the inner fenderwells with ATF, after packing the track the muck would dang near fall off the car. I think they actually make a product dedicated for that purpose now, might be worth looking in to if you are just going through a lot of mud, not submerging in it down in Florida, LOL

I like the SC1 so far.. It seems to work well for me. Do you not like it?
@archstanton92064 жыл бұрын
@@MrSuperchargeron It really attracts dust. Big time. And the solvent base helps black plastics fade. That was my experience on my old XP1K.it was the 2 seat black pearl deal and the non painted plastics fade very quickly...Leo's statement about solvent base causing that makes sense.

Huge factor is also what was used on the plastic before they got dirty. I use a car spray wax and then when I was mud off of plastic there's no scrubbing and apply wax here and there ever 5 washes. I use meguiars hybrid ceramic wax while the side-by-side is still wet and pressure wash it around to spread then dry. Works great. Minimum labor plus water beads off and mid doesn't stick as well. Shelf product at Auto parts store. Great one to use when dry is CMX as well. Knocks the wash time down with minimal labor

Have you seen any break down to the seats, plastic or engine components from the simple green? Drying out seals?
@ASUSfreak3 жыл бұрын
At 2:41 you say 1/3th simple green and 2/3th water so in Liters that is 1L/3L and 2L/3L = 3L total. But in your description you say 3 to 1 ratio... So 3L water and 1L simple green is like 4L total. That's a different mixture. So which one is correct? And what is simple green anyway? Is it dishwasher stuff to de-grease it? Like we have "Dreft" in Belgium? It is for doing the dishes but it's one heck of a degreaser as well... 😁

Water is a solvent. It never fails to amaze me how the most fundamental things are unknown to people now days. The major characteristic of a solvent is that stuff dissolves in it.
@kwikxx3 жыл бұрын
Well, dihydrogen monoxide does dissolve water soluble things. (sugar, salt..) BUT, a "solvent" has no pH in it. Eg, no water. (oil and water and the like). However, what we are shooting for is an emulsifier. Sumpin' to make that oily soil float in water, not on water. My favorite emulsification I enjoy really cold...with cookies to dip into it.

@@kwikxx You err. Water is a solvent. In fact, it is the most abundant and universal solvent known to man. pH in your case means pure Horseshit.
