Protip: In All Ghillied Up mission, if you picked up the G3 rifle, you will have it as one of your loadouts in this mission. Plus it shares its ammo with M21 giving you a total of 400 ammos.

Did this on both the original and remastered on veteran. The same strategy applies. Pick up a rifle preferably an AK-47 as a secondary and get behind the bumper car area. You should be able to pick off any enemies that come near you. Just be vigilant, watch out for grenades and dogs.

After those 3 choppers come (which you cant shoot down with RPG) it becomes hell itself. I cant shoot anyone cause I don't see anything from all the bullets impacting into the earth and into me. the wind's gettin a bit choppy, you can compensate for it, or you can wait it out.. but he might leave before it's dies down... it's your call... remember what i've taught you, keep in mind variable humidity and wind speed along the bullet's flight path.. at this distance, you'll also to take the Coriolis effect into account.. - Capt. Actually it's quite easy to beat it on veteran if you have a good strategy for defending yourself from the incoming attackers. I just went to the right, where the bumper cars are situated and stayed there until the helicopter landed. Then I finished off the remaining forces, got MacMillan and went to the helicopter. Yes, you'll die a couple of times, but it's nothing compared with the hell I've experienced when I stayed with Captain MacMillan. I will upload my strategy in a couple of days on my channel if you're interested.

I found myself playing COD 4 Modern Warfare the other day This level and "Heat" were the best on this game. (Reality, a chopper would not be 20 mins out running on fumes...more like 8 to 10 minutes in a holding pattern, depending on the situation.)

Reasons why this mission is hard : 1. You have to move quick after sniping Zakhaev. 2.Swarm of bad guys. 3. You have to carry Mac halfway through the mission. 4. You have to defend the LZ for the chopper to safely pick you up. 5. You're in fucking CHERNOBYL.

I usually put McMillan down, after the pool and put a perimeter of claymores down, pick him back up..drop him off at the hill, take his claymores and make another perimeter from the place I started all the way to the steps of the fairs wheel. Then put C4 down a couple of cars and bumper cars. I put my last 3, C4 explosives in a line toward McMillan, one on the steel piling on the fairs wheel--clears the way when I go grab McMillan. I Usually prone on the deck of the fairs wheel, gives me a clear line of sight of the whole field and then fall back behind the bumper cars. My M-21 (looks like an M-14 except the casing on the bottom casing is different-different round capacity as a 14 where it holds 20)ounds are depleted by the time the chopper lands (Switching between weapons) but enough left for my AK-47.
