If I only ever saw this, I would assume that once... there were four beautiful best friends. All of them had a crush on the mysterious bad boy, Jason Dean, to the dismay and confusion all the boys falling at their feet. While they all loved each other, more than anyone or anything, they didn't always get along. After all, don't you disagree with your friends sometimes? But J.D. fell not for the Heathers, but for Veronica. As she grew to fall more and more with him, she distanced herself from her friends, who still wanted him. Veronica and J.D. grew to be so in love that at the untimely death of Heather Chandler, he supported her and was there for her. But Veronica continued to feel guilty, knowing that Heather loved J.D., too. She wrote about her guilt, that she blamed herself and that she missed her friends before they even began to think of boys. The other Heathers still loved her of course and told her that she wasn't alone and they missed her, too. She tried to talk to her parents about her boy-and-friend troubles, but they merely tell her "Que sera, sera." Even when she confesses to J.D. that she knew Heather Chandler loved him, he says what happened wasn't her fault and she was still the girl he fell in love with. The kids still continue to make questionable choices throughout their teenage hears, but they still have each other's backs, and would grow closer than ever before.
