@@BotanyBayFishing it says hook and line and recreational nets. All other methods banned. That would include traps.

@@lukewilliams9082 hey mate, been checked many times by fisheries with crab traps on board and never had any issues, if your still unsure whether or not your allowed to take traps out feel free to give fisheries a call

tomtucker00 In general I agree, I believe everyone should limit the amount they take home and usually we are very conservative when it comes to taking fish home. When it comes to crabs, they usually only have a short season and we like to stock up seeing as they are our favourite type of seafood.
