Was the flash mob to respect those who died in 9/11? I don't understand why Kapa o Pango was performed though. It's a haka that was created specifically for the All Blacks. Kapo o Pango literally means team in black. Perform Ka Mate, sure. Doing Kapa o Pango is just a bit odd.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Hmm...dont get me wrong, every time I watch the Haka I get chills. There is a feeling that cuts to the core of some kind of...unity of purpose or unity of will. But I don't think I felt that way for this video or any of the other flash mob hakas because of that lack of purpose. Alls I get is the felling that a buch of people find that it might be fun to yell real loud and slap their foremarms haha! No denying it looks like fun though!!

I don't care if you hate black people, brown people, green people, whatever. It really doesn't matter. Because whoever you are, if you're face to face with a group of large Maoris doing a haka, it's pretty fucking intimidating. Remember, these are people who were forced to change their haka to something less mean-looking because it was scaring the shit out of other rugby teams. Look up the old haka the All Blacks used to do. It's fucking murderous.
