Sydney is blessed once again with another brand new, amazing skatepark!
This is the first skatepark we have ever had built under a bridge and is super helpful when we're skating under the hot Aussie sun 😎
This is Beaumont Hills skatepark, designed by Place and built by Trinity Skateparks and then amazing little park has something for everyone

@@LeonPaxton of course, i drive up to sydney a few times a year to see family - 9 hour drive from where I live but it's worth it. A lot of skateparks, like frankston, have staff you can contact who could definitely help with getting you around and the video

One thing i will say is that it looks like a lot of the obstacles have been specifically designs with skateboarding in mind, looks like they would be a bit more cumbersome to skate this park on inlines or bmx. That being said though, the other side of that coin is that this park looks like a skateboarders paradise! Makes me want to go back to learning to board alongside my inlines

I think you should totally come down to Coffs Harbour and check out our three skateparks and one of them is in door. I reckon you’ll be pretty pleased with Brelsford skatepark so you should totally come for a look

Bracken ridge in Brisbane has fake grass you can roll over and do easy powerslides, its good stuff. Its also has some fake bark that bodied me when I tried to roll over it.

That's a surprisingly approachable park that'd be good for beginners. Or even guys like me who skated for like 20 years (too old and broken now lol) but never much in parks or transitions. Often parks get built to big an intimidating and then no one skates them. No platform on the quarter is a bit silly considering they've got safety fencing on anything ya could accidently fall off. No parking , no water and also no toilets is a pretty big oversight though. Often they're some of the first things considered.

omg, the wood chips! The skate park closest to me is in a U shape with a playground in the middle with woodchips, and the kids spread them ALL OVER the park! It's such a dumb idea to put wood chips around any skateparks. I started taking a broom whenever I was going to skate, but eventually just stopped skating that park I missed one woodchip when I was sweeping one time, hit it on my skateboard and fell face first into the quarter pipe I was heading towards. Never skated there since

@@LeonPaxton we have a park or two In almost every city in California. And we have city after city with hardly any empty land in between. Minus like natural hills and state owned land. I live in SoCal one day I googled all the parks within a 1 hr driving distance and there was over 25+ parks near me. Within a 30-45 min drive I got about half that at least. Don’t forget the endless street spot possibilities and actual well known spots too: it’s actually a little over whelming sometimes.

Looks like a good design, feels like a missed opportunity to be under a bridge and not have some transition built into a bridge support. Also hate the trinity skateparks super slick finish. We have a park built(and designed) by them up here and its super tight with a super slick finish. Still unskatable with hard wheels after over a year of sun and rain...

@@LeonPaxton I ride a lot out in Florida when k visit , and it’s actually baffling how many parks are just left to the elements. ESPECIALLY there. One of the first parks I went to was legit in a wide open field with no trees or anything around, had one awning that was a giant metal “skateboard” with holes in it… the closest water fountain was on the complete other side of the sport complex where the entrance was. For most dudes on their bikes or skateboards, that was a hike in a half for what it was. Another park I go to has the facilities, but are always locked or has the water cut off 80% of the year. It just doesn’t make sense, unless the city purposely wanted to inconvenience riders

our skatepark has really good lights, but they turn off around 22:00... so basicly when you need light, you don't have any >.< it's far away from any houses, but I think they did not do this because of noise, but to keep away drinking teens, bums etc at night. the thing I don't like about it is, that you have to turn it on yourself via a chip (not everyone has one) and it turns off after 30minutes. then you have to walk to the generator and turn the light on again... pretty dumb, if you'd ask me

Wasn’t empty when I walked past on a weekend. Was full of families and kids. Kids were queuing to use the circuit section, some of them were 3-4 years old as well, so it seemed to be a big hit. On weekdays it be empty I guess because people have school/work.

I live down the road from it. Skated there once and can’t see myself going back. Crazy waste of space There’s barely any worthwhile lines and only one side of it gets any of the light at night Everything is so flat and spread out you may as well be skating in a parking lot

Im a kid that goes to this skatepark and this came up on my recommended. Ive got to say other skateparks in the area are WAYYY better that are a lot smaller and on a lesser budget. I ride skateboard and the only half decent part of the park is the pump track and it only has 1 drop in with coping.
