I started to watch KZbin videos of pilots explaining what happens in flights etc turbulence.. once I began to realise I was going to be ok I’m absolutely fine now! I’m terrified of planes too. I just flew from Australia to England and it was the worst. But gotta do it to see family etc. there’s no easy way to get over it. It’s an irrational fear. Your heart starts going crazy, sweating and shit. Even knowing how safe planes are it’s almost impossible to get over.

Yep I hear stories about it. it was not fun/good/safe for my mums family, lowkey being taken advantage of, maybe a bit from naivety, and in that time 50 odd years ago you should hear of what it was like.
