I live in Perth its fine, just like anywhere it has its problems, it may seem detached from out East but that's due the size of WA which makes up a third of Australia but with only a population of around 2.6m, the place is empty compared to Victoria and New South Wales, the pace of life here is significantly slower than Sydney or Melbourne, its far less stressful as well. It's isolation means you will either love it or think is just to quiet. Unlike Queensland we have no need to boast about the amount of sunshine we have here or the quality of our numerous beaches.. sandgroper heaven.

I'm a Sydneysider and prefer a bit more buzz. Sydney is obviously more exciting but Perth is family friendly. It has great coastal housing stock for between $1 and 1.5 million, too. For homes that would easily run for between $5 to $7 million in Sydney. Lots going for it!

I am not a drinker nor a party animal. I love nature, wildlife, good food and a chilled out atmosphere...Perth, I am coming, and I am staying for good :) Goodbye toxic Japan. 2022 is time for a positive change in my life. I really want to live somewhere that seriously values nature and green spaces within the city, also with a zero tolerance to littering and smoking in public. Here in Japan there is no nice green spaces in the city, just trash and noise, not to mention the busy congested streets and trains of full of disgusting people. I can't wait to leave! I am so glad the UK and Aus extended the working holiday age from this year. Gives me an open door to the land down under. Thank you for this insight. Makes me more excited to go to Perth! :)

@aidanwoodthorpe382 2 жыл бұрын
@@mrcmasjidtanah6212 I'm from Perth and moved to the UK to study 6 years ago and am moving back very soon. Mandurah has its pros and cons like any place. Pros: The cost of housing is very decent, you can live very close to some incredible beaches for a lot cheaper than you would in the western suburbs of Perth. It is a very pretty area and is on the highway which would give you easy access to the south coast if you wanted to explore, It is a reasonably large settlement so there is some variety to restaurants and you will have access to pretty much anything you would need compared to some regional areas Cons: It is not that close to Perth city itself so you would have to drive a while to get into the city (there is a train though that is fairly regular that will take you directly to city center that takes about an hour from memory), Because of this it feels more like its own town rather than a section of Perth. As it is more remote you would find more social issues such as alcohol and drug misuse and some areas can be a little dodgy so depending on the area walking around at night might feel more stressful

Yeah, Perth just had record rain. Tim Flannery said Perth would be deserted, and a desert by 2020, but it would be flooded by rising seas. Hmmmm... Nothing happened, mostly because Leftstupids are.....stupid. We also had our first summer in history without reaching 37.8C, (100F), and sea levels are the same as ever, Chicken Little. Oh, and Al Gore toured the world warning us about sea levels rising, remember? Al took the enormous profits from that tour, and purchased a new home ON THE BEACH, in Montecito, California.

Perth is very much like the City of Parramatta, circa 1995.

Sydney is very multicultural from the city to West and South West so you get certain nationalities all hanging together. Sydney traffic is shit but then again that just means more people and more jobs. Perth is isolated and have high crime with indigenous and African communities that they cant control.
