I'm super excited about this week's vlog because I am finally reunited with my parents, who I haven't seen in over a year! We revisit a lot of restaurants we have previously been and eat a whole bunch. I've also really missed my mum's cooking and her soups lol

Wow, Eastwood has changed!! I lived there from 1946 to 1965, until I turned 19. We lived on the east side near the railway and I went to Eastwood Public School from 1951 to 1957 and then to High School. I do not recognise a single shop now, but it looks a great area to revisit, especially the food shops. Wonder if I can buy a decent charcoal Wok burner there? But certainly I can restock my sauces, condiments, spices and dried mushrooms. I guess Chinese greens are available as well, especially Mustard Greens (Gai Choi). We simply cannot get them in the cultural desert that is Sutherland Shire.

This video really brings back happy memories when ever have big family events, my mom and aunties will gather together to prepare so much food. Actually alot of them are same as what your Mom cook. Now in my 50's with my Mom pass away few years back and other aunties living other countries, really miss all the food bonding we had together.

Haha I usually do the same thing at Sydney airport when picking up family. Park in the Maccas/KFC and wait for a text to pick up in the free 15 minute parking. The smile on your face was priceless when you saw your parents arrive. Your mum’s cooking looked top shelf, agree with other comments on this video you should start a cooking channel.

Great tip on Sydney airport pickup. This is the P3 express parking where the first 15 minutes is free. Only works when you coordinate with well with the people getting picked up. It is obvious you have the process down pat. Excellent tip and top video as usual.

Your mom's cooking looks amazing. It's been so long I haven't been to an airport, you made me feel for a trip. Japan will likely realign their visitors policy for tourism with the other western countries in June so I am looking at airplane tickets to Japan. Australia is also an option but it will be off season I guess...
