WOW!!!! I LOVED that workout!!! I crushed it! Wooo!! Those split squats followed by those power step ups my goodness!!! And those chest presses followed by mountain climbers holy moly! Idk what burned more my shoulders or my legs today 😆! I seriously loved the challenge, this strength and conditioning had me leave it all on that mat! I have absolutely loved April Shred, looking forward to this week and sad to see this program end. I am however looking forward to the next one as I’m sure it will be amazing! Thank you for another AMAZING challenge & sweat! What a workout!!! We did it guys!!!

After an emergency appendectomy, and 4 weeks of recovery and light workout, IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE BACK! And I knew I could come back and you’d be there ready to go with a great workout. Note to anyone... do not do legs two days before this! I made this mistake and I could not give it 100%. This was an amazing workout and the plan on doing it again so I can push myself harder.

I've been completing these workouts religiously for about 4 months now. I took last week off to spend school break with my family and not stress about squeezing in workouts. We stayed active with walking and bike riding...and eating. Came back to Sydney today and holy moly did I earn my sweat! You don't realize just how strong you are until you take some time away. Dripping sweat and feeling soooo good about myself as I write this! So many things to be excited for!! The last week of Shred, entering my 5th month of consistent workouts and focus on my health, and my first summertime fine program with you all! There are no words for how grateful I am for this shift in my life to focus on my health and to have a team full of badasses to do it with. The motivation I get from myself only multiplies whenever I come on here and read comments. We are all doing this together regardless of whatever level we are at and I love it here. Today was also my first time trying true split squats, I was sooo wobbly but something told me I could finally do it and I was doing a very loud and unattractive grunt to get me through and I SWEAR Sydney looked right in my eyes and said “I feel you, I know this is hard, you got this, hold on” Like how does she just know what we need to hear? Happy day 22 friends from all around the world! 💛💪🏾✨🌞

Boy oh boy what a Monday Workout!!!! The format of isolation, compound, isolation and then cardio was extremely challenging. Finished it with sweat dripping all over and stretched with Sydney's 20 minute band stretch. We are doing fabulously great friends with these workouts and it is all due to a great trainer we have.

My fave things about these workouts (despite them always being harder than I think!) is that there is such body positivity here. It is about nurturing ourselves mentally and physically and being grateful towards our bodies rather than punishing them or hating on them. That closing comment really resonated with me. Let’s crush this final week! 💪🏻 I needed that speech at the end. I’ve been beating myself up over not looking a certain way by now. I need to redo my thinking and remember I’m so much STRONGER than I was. 8lb weights always made me sore in the beginning and now I’m smashing 15s and 20s like it’s no big deal! I’m respecting my body by giving it more water, more sleep, stretching and RESTING when I need to.

Get it squad! Oh my word! I started with my normal weight and by the second round was second guessing myself. I was not able to move up in weights during any of the sets due to starting high at the beginning but that made me super motivated to stick with said weight and push through the pain and shakes! My goodness that one was tough!!! I was rusty from taking 2 days off last week for some family responsibilities and man could I feel it today! I have never ever been able to stick with a plan before … at the best, I’d keep with the plan for about 2 workouts and then forget I was on a plan 🤦🏻♀️. Yesss! I did an extra set of the combo at the end b/c why not! Amazing job everyone! I know how to take care of myself, therefore, I will do my best with the knowledge I have meaning! Sleeping before 11pm, so electronics in the bed, instead I will do a book or stretch! Focusing on tasks, putting my horse blinders on and not getting distracted on social media which prolongs my efficiency! Drinking 3-4L of water per day by filling up my water bottle and always having it by my side! These are activities I choose to do everyday because I know it makes me a full, happy, and strong person!
