As an international Australian who has been so depressed by the No vote, Play it Safe has totally revived my spirits. It's an extraordinarily good production of an amazing song, and is such an ode to 'brave creativity'. And now this Behind the Scenes shares even more spectacular footage that simply could not fit into the song's video. Congratulations to everyone involved. THANK YOU!

I got banned from utube for 24 hours for saying I was ashamed to be a Queenslander as we had the highest no vote. I think I will put it on my grave stone I was banned on utube for supporting Aboriginal rights! Ps.I am the daughter of ten pound poms and a sixty year old house wife.

I think I've watched pretty much everything that Tim Minchin has produced, I'm obsessed with his work. My kids quote his lyrics from all sorts of his work and through them into casual conversations, and the whole family understands the relevance. But this may be my favorite of all. It's such a celebration of humanity, diversity, creativity and resilience. Each time I watch this (and I've watched it countless times!), I get a sense of pride at the innimatable and indefatigable human spirit to never be held back. Amazing that Tim can convey all of that with words that are superficially the antithesis of it, and trusts the audience to never have to explain it. Beautiful, genius, unparalled talent. You should be rightly proud Australia - what a beacon of hope this is to the world. But, leave the weird ideas to the Danish!
