He can sing perfectly fine, he’s adding feeling and emotional expression to convey that situation and he owns it every-time, it’s spectacular and captivating and I’d take that over any perfect pitch over rehearsed pop performance that lacks soul or feeling thank you 😊

For all of you hating on Sam's voice... I saw them a few weeks ago and he killed it. He has been touring for a good bit now. They put on a fricken show. You guys aint a pro singer. His voice is still damn good, relax everyone.

He legitimately used to sound amazing actually. If you go all the way back to some of his 2010 gigs, his voice was pretty powerful and soulful. Sure he always had a somewhat unconventional way of singing, but that was part of the charm. This is just him literally trying to push the notes out in a really unappealing and difficult to listen to kind of way. Like this is just bad. I've loved this band since the very beginning and I've heard uncles sing better than this on Karaoke nights.

I was disappointed with the vocals, hopefully it was a temporary throat problem. However, it's great they got a gig in Australia!
