I was lucky enough to see this exact performance live in 2019 with my father and grandmother. She's since left us but knowing that she got to see this live with me because I adore Jonsi and that for a few brief hours of this show in this video she's alive and well. It makes me feel bittersweet listening to this music again since that day. I really miss her.

Lying alone on my bed with all the lights off, ignoring the cacophony of the world outside, or walking in the rain with headphones on... so many memories associated with this song. when jonsi performs live, whether it be sigur ros, his solo work or with alex, the music takes on a new form. It expands and fills your soul and heart with both joy and sadness, but it's beautiful. so much extra care is put into performing it. Any shows he performs are truly magic, a once in a lifetime type of experience. I have only been lucky enough to see Jonsi on his Go tour, but it was the best night of my life, and I have copies of sigur ros's live sets, even not being there in person is truly profound and deeply moving. I wish this tour (Jonsi and Alex) would do a show closer to me, hopefully they add more dates.

I found alex somers through Black Mirror. He and Sigur Ros made the song 'end'. Ive loved that song for years. Then one day i found a song from aaron dessinger called 'Big Red Machine'. In the same charity album, a song called 'happiness' by Alex and Jónsi was listed. I fell in love instantly. I only found this video by looking up happiness to try to find a live play of it. While happiness will always be my favorite overall, Indian summer performed live will always have a very special place un my heart 💜

I just saw this show in Boston at the Wilbur. OMG, first off, this is Heaven's Waiting Room music. I cried tears of joy a few times during this show because I honestly couldn't believe I was watching this album being performed live. This show shined my soul. If everybody listened to this music in the world, we wouldn't have so many problems. It shows you patience, it shows you earnst, anger, hopelessness, curiosity, playfulness, love, hate, doom, glory. It was definitely a lifetime hallmark moment. I hope this music lives on like Bach, Mozart, and all the other greats. Alex and Jonsi, and Sigur Ros. This music is what the Wyld Stallions (Bill and Ted) could be in our world...if more people just heard it. And please play All the Big Trees at my funeral for the last song. That song encompasses what I see when I look back in my past over my lifetime. And what I could become as well. Thank you Alex, Jonsi, and all of the wonderful musicians who I saw on Wednesday night in Boston. God Bless You
