She did a great job. As a novice, everything, including wardrobe, choice of song, etc. was probably all dictated to her by whoever runs that Royal gala. The orchestration was great, and she made it into a Bond sounding theme. Can understand why some don't like the song.....the Imagine Dragons version is very manic.

Loved the confidence, passion and drama of her performance. Hated the song. Missed her BGT persona of breathing new life into classics and moving listeners to chills and tears. Truth is though, Sydnie isn’t just that BGT performer, and different venues and occasions will call for a variety of musical choices and styles. Bottom line, she’s a great singer with a great story, and I wish her a long and successful singing and entertainment career. With her wit and personality, I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up singing and hosting a TV show like Kelly Clarkson or Jennifer Hudson.

@@aclarkinnc6180 The Royal Variety chose the song, not Sydnie. I think she sounded great and she smashes the song on her album. Maybe it's just a matter of taste? Sydnie can sing all variety of genres and not just musicals. She does jazz, rock, pop, gospel, indie, and funk. She's a woman of many talents and even though she has said that she will only stick to doing the West End and musicals, I think and hope she will continue to share her talents of taking oldie goldies and putting her Sydnie kiss on them and making them her own like she did with My Way. And I hope she will release her songs that she's already written and has already put to music video. I love her song One Night Only that she has put out on video 4 years ago that she did a duet with DeFreyne. It's on my channel. I guess we will just have to wait and see what comes her way and what decisions she makes.

WHY, with all the BEAUTIFUL, POSITIVE uplifting songs Sidney has on her album did she sing this DEPRESSING song. Why not just nail Tomorrow, or My Way here and leave everyone with goose bumps and tears of joy. Makes NO sense at all. Won't hurt her career at all, as this young woman has to much talent.

She still did a GREAT job singing it 😍 I assume you live in the UK? Are you going to one of her shows in February? I am from the states PRAYING she comes over here to tour in the next couple years. She just needs to come on a few popular TV talk shows for exposure and she will take off in the US. Sing either Tomorrow or My Way and she will hook a bunch of new fans IMMEDIATELY! I will pay top $$$ and drive a long way to see her live. NOT many singers or bands I would do that for. Sidney is for me up there with Streisand and Celene Dion with her tenor and emotions she sing with. Such a BEAUTIFUL person to. Love her so much 😍

This wasn't her best performance. Sydney is a superstar but this song was a wrong choice or maybe the rendered version but this was a very mid performance. Sydney is a very strong vocal powerhouse but this song didn't give her the room to show that.

Sydnie was performing for the King and the rest of the Royal family of Great Britain. There was no way that she could get by with dressing in capris and a sweater for that performance. She has to dress accordingly to the venue. She is still the real and same Sydnie that we all fell in love with on BGT. She hasn't changed one bit.
