This movie is a visual masterpiece, and all the little details were so thoughtfully done and are so amazing to see and notice, from the lighting effects to the mix of 2D and 3D to the word bubbles. When I saw it for the first time, I found myself sometimes thinking it was stop-motion because of the animating on 2's, and sometimes thinking it was live-action because the characters were animated in such a natural and expressive way. Thanks for giving us a look at the thought process behind it all! I hope this sets the standard for big budget animated movies in the future.

@@Gadget-Walkmen Imo, it reminds you of the surprise and the apprehension you had when you meet her for the first time in the movie Seeing how prepared and in ease she is, doing her hair as strong and threatening limbs casually grab Peter's neck. Unexpected danger, unexpected confident in ease villain, yes it does give a thrill.

If you have seen Alberto Mielgo's more recent animated film, the love and robot stuff, it looks vastly different than Spiderverse. the only idea he brought in is to have them look painterly but Spiderverse is way more than just painterly. It is all those comic styles etc that made it special. And If Alberto ended up staying working for Spiderverse, it wouldn't look like what it is today, it would be too adult 18+ looking and scary like his more recent animated film I was referring to. You can get a feel of how it would have looked like in one of the early stages of the development of Spiderverse. I could only use "sad" to describe it. Spiderverse atm is more on the "happy" side, which I very much prefer.

And he was not a crybaby like toby's spiderman .
