If that were the case, Sauron would've been the protagonist of _The Lord Of The Rings._ Tron isn't the protagonist in the _TRON_ franchise, Kevin Flynn is for the most part. thing is, Yellow lightsabers at the time signified Jedi sentinels. Jedi who could easily hide themselves amongst civilians, both in appearance and in work, as they were also skilled in electronics, starships, etc. second, Qimir's helmet and gauntlet are made of cortosis, which is the only material that can short out lightsabers. if Beskar could do so, Mando would've won against Gideon in season 2 in seconds
