Sylvain à son meilleur niveau et à sa place la plus justifiée, je trouve. J'ai rarement vu un interprète tenir la dragée aussi haute face à ce "monstre" , et Florin est véritablement magnifique sur ce morceau tout en dialogues. On mentionne souvent Luc comme étant un soliste hors-pair, mais ses accompagnements sont juste... Incroyables ! Il mène le morceau par le bout du nez.

@ Sergiu Ferat. Draga Sergiu, este adevarat ca NIMENI nu v-a putea reproduce sunetul si valoarea lui Grappeli si pentru mine un singur Grapelli ajunge, si Florin ti-ar spune acelasi lucru. Eu am fost la scoala cu Florin, si il cunosc enorm de bine, am crescut impreuna, si ii cunosc valoarea. El nu intentioneaza sa copieze nimic, nici nu e nevoie. Talentul si pasiunea pentru muzica iese afara prin fiecare febra a oricarui muschi in corpul lui- asta se realizeaza decind i-a vioara in mina si se acordeaza. Dupa parerea mea, si sint de meserie, nu mai exista nimeni mai buni, cu aceasi finete, cunostiinta de jazz, armonie si contrapunct, cit si vioara. Sofisticatie si mare respect pentru muzica si instrumentul sau, se aude dupa prima nota. Daca tu stii de altu mai bun, te rog spune-mi. Dar nu cred.

i have BL with my favourit Django…Dreufus jazz peoducedby BL in New York and Paris together with Koono. Somebody brought me the box with all five cd’s, found in a shop with cd’s piled up to the ceiling…he likes that!

francezii il considera urmasul lui stephane grappelli, cel mai celebru violonist de manouche, a facut conservatorul la paris, iar cand l-a intalnit in final pe idolul sau grapelli, acesta i-a propus sa inregistreze un album impreuna. Dar, evident, noi, ca popor, stim cel mai bine sa denigram.
