With Dr. Eggman and Surge subdued for now, Sonic and friends have a chance to relax, reset, and plan for the future. Join us for a set of misadventures in our brand-new story arc, starting here in issue #62 and running full speed through #66! First, Amy visits Knuckles on Angel Island to return a relic. The island, as always, has a few surprises in store for them as they catch up. Meanwhile, Mimic is putting together the purrfect disguise to infiltrate the Restoration.

I gotta say with the pro sonic villain Starline gone, now we see the next pro villain clutch the possum along with shapeshifter villain mimic

For the time being, I would like clutch to be established as another nemesis that crash bandicoot's viscount failed to achieve. And it would be even cooler if he made his own robot henchman I love that non-eggman criminal syndicates are confirmed by Sonic official he's not the only threat

Doubtful. He had a good thing going with the original Diamond Cutters, and we all know how that went.

@@WhiteFireTheDragonthis is all purely a theory based off of 1 issue, but I do see a redemption or alignment change incoming tho, idk if he’ll stay as duo or anything. But little things like his reasons for coming being attached to his vendetta/history with the diamond cutters and becoming a member again never being explicitly verbally said by him and he just looked kind of mad, surprised, intrigued but offended about it. +how haphazardly he compiled his little backstory together tells me that parts of who he actually is will/already is inevitably showing through. No clue how much time passed between recruitment and joining but it couldn’t have been too long. +his goal in bad guy’s or whatever wasn’t even to get back into more trouble but to be free and lay low, something he kept up til now. Only being roped in again by personal feelings which is something he’s consistently been shown to know how to lack and detach from. A pure logitician. His whole “really, I get to have all this?” after lying and doing basically nothing tells me he might actually get a kick out of not being treated like a menace for once and get to metaphorically further his og goal of going off the grid at exploring the freedom of being someone who isn’t himself. It’s literally what most of sonic and his friends believe in and fight for, why the resistance exists and what surge’s whole beef was to begin with. He IS an octopus after all. They’re main thing is blending in, and being flexible.

How is the Restoration funded anyway? You would think they would have had a "broke arc" by now with all the rebuilding they have to do to themselves as well as the world.

They most likely would unfortunately for some reason. Only certain characters are allowed to have money exist for them. Thank the Sega mandates.

Mimic is back. Like in fnaf Edit:if you don't know who is the mimic its a endoskeleton who is now the villain of fnaf. And I'm saying this as a joke cause mimic and the mimic have the same name

Speaking about helping the community, we should always try to do something for our community as well, like picking up trash, food drive, being friendly... It can be an advernture on it's own. Maybe I should try doing something like that and be like Duo(Not the Mimic part though.)
