This should really have been a series. Had they slowly built it up, kept the boy at distance for the first few episodes, done some good flashbacks, flushed out the relationship between the brothers, the reveal of Nemesis would have been insane.

M. Night Shyamalan ruined any chances for a plot twist. It is usually the first thing I look now in any movie. Glass was probably the last plot twist I didn't see coming because it was a double plot twist. The first one you expect. The second one, not so much. But this movie, it was very obvious that it was Nemesis.

This was a VERY underrated film. One of the few to do a good job with the final "twist" they're usually so heavy handed that it feels like the director is doing that slow, loud speaking thing that D-bags do to mock stupid people...or in an effort to not be that they end up with something that may not have been guessed because it doesn't add up/make sense/ impossible in the framework of the story. This movie actually pulled it off. Instead of mindless super action or overly morality conflicted "LESSONS "shoved down the throat...it's just good, character driven story.

The names also give a clue. Nemesis is a Greek word loosely translated as vengeance or righteous wrath. Samaritan on the other hand can only be referenced as "good" if you take its meaning from the Bible story "The Good Samaritan". Ironically, if the word "good" had to be assigned to Samaritan to get its meaning across, that must mean that the Samaritans were not traditionally considered to be a friendly, helpful people two millennium ago. But additionally, Samaritans are almost an extinct group of people. They were all but vanished from existence due to wars in the Biblical era. So if you know the history of the Samaritans then you would already know that Samaritan was the one defeated in the final fight and it is Nemesis who is going after vengeance for the kid being kidnapped.

I suspected it from the beginning. The whole good/bad twin troupe with the MC assuming he was the good guy throughout the whole movie made it pretty obvious and they kept dropping other hints throughout the movie as well such as all the devices he was building, his temper, the way he fights, etc.

You've never been in an explosion have you mate. People can survive way more then you think. Hearing damage from the pressure wave, concussion, internal and shrapnel injuries would be the things to worry about, that and the potential for fires and structural damage to the building. Just for context, Both me and my father have been inside explosions and subsequent fireballs at different times in our lives and neither of us suffered anything much more than singed hair from the fire, I'm half deaf in my right ear from the boom and he lost most of his beard but other than that we were both fine. I was told by medical responders that if the fireball had been much larger and lasted for longer then the potential for inhaling the fire and causing massive internal damage to our lungs would have been significant and that would have been a very brutal way to go. But we got lucky I guess.
