Thank you so much for asking. I bought 4 skeins of the “Ferris Wheel” yarn and used about two thirds of the last skein. If you want to make longer or more tassels you should be ok with 4 skeins. The poncho weighs 270 grams or 9.45 ounces. The square measures about 15” from side to side. Diagonally, corner to corner it measures about 20”. And the final poncho has about 3” of borders plus tassels.🥰

This poncho seems to be a small size. I had to add extra rows to compensate. Great directions!!

Thankyou for great tutorial. I have just finished mine and I absolutely love it...I used 3 balls of Paton Sierra 8ply with size 4 mm crochet hook and put a drawstring around neckline with small tassles on ends. They were easy and simple directions to follow 🙏

Just what I was looking for. I love it. You made it so easy and I could see the stitches clearly. Question, if I want the squares bigger, do i keep doing the last rows of dc to the size square I want.
@SYLVIAHappyhobbyCROCHETING1234 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. I would recommend a bigger hook size and/or bigger size yarn. If you make the trim around the four squares with the tassels you need the certain number of Stiches, otherwise the pattern won’t work. I used a 5.5 mm (I9) and 6mm (J9) and the Poncho was quite large. You can also (carefully) steam iron the squares and that adds several inches. That also makes the squares flat and pretty.🥰

How to know the 4 grainy square would fit in to my neck size? How to take measurements of each of squares and chrochet?
@SYLVIAHappyhobbyCROCHETING1233 жыл бұрын
The great thing about ponchos is that they are very easy to wear and to make without a great deal of measuring. You could make it bigger by using a larger hook or thicker yarn. 🥰
