When a Solo Veteran plays DayZ Seriously...

Playing DayZ as a Solo can be quite challenging. In this adventure I embark on a solo journey to the Western side of Chernarus. Encountering several other players on a busy server that is mostly dominated by larger groups. On this server loot is a bit tweaked and stamina increased, but gameplay such as inertia is still the same to give that DayZ Vanilla experience.
Everything in this adventure was recorded live.

Aww, the way this started, running around with just a glow stick in the dark, and finding a police station. It reminded me of one of my 1st adventures, years back when I think most people were exploring the new Livonia DLC. I wandered into a similar station and geared up completely looking like a cop, and decided that I was "after a bounty" and I would try to engage conversation with people until I found the "wanted" person and their team. I made a lot of stupid mistakes that run, and it was a wash, but later when I told my friends what my intentions had been they were thrilled with the premise.

Your death at the end the blood splat is a directional hit shot meaning it wasnt the guy in the ruins that killed you there was another guy and you ran towards him after youd already been tapped

When I first started playing years ago I played on those easy mode community servers and it got boring very fast. You can just run when you get into trouble and it's pretty hard for most people to hit a target moving full speed while zig zagging. For the past few years I've played nothing but offical.

one of the most intimidating games I ever played, spent 2 weeks on a server without seeing anyone, saw one dude, I had a rifle with one round, followed him for about 40 minute, adrenaline going crazy, killed him eventually, then got owned very quickly, only thing to ever top that adrenaline was pvping on eve online

I wish the zombie threat felt more real like TWD style with packs and herds of slower zombies that you can't mess with unless you go full-auto Carl and Rick style at the prison. Also situations where you'd get trapped Glenn style and you'd have to find some out of the box solutions to get out. Imagine having your compound flooded by a herd like in Alexandria or the Sanctuary and having to gather the boys to clear it or gtfo. The zombies in Dayz are kind of a joke. You can just run past them and even if there's several like at one time in this video it doesn't really matter. Just you have to close a door and you're set. They won't try to crush that door.

@@robertbaldwin4014 these days I personally think Tarkov is better, but it just better suits my play style. It’s a grind but I can log off and not be worried about losing my stash. Dayz can be a huge grind too with the chance someone raids your base etc. honestly, it’s worth buying as it has its fun times, and I’ve met loads of cool people through dayz.

Great vid, don’t listen to the tryhards complaining about the stamina mod. More stamina means more running time which means more content and less downtime. Server seems really solid and you put out great content.

as a person who plays in the mentioned heavily boosted servers. i will say, the factions do overrun areas. but when you are a solo. you tend to get better at taking on arge groups. especially against heavily geared players. i love it alot. so i tend to keep playing on those servers.

i played this game as a solo for a while, gave up once i got Salmonella and it never went away: i kept warm, fully hydrated and well fed and i took a bunch of charcoal and tetra tablets… it has never went away

I been playing both maps I'm on livona trying make a Faction have 2 best buds but u need 4 ppl. My first Base Got greffed n they tore down all my walls I complained on discord could of got them band but decided with my friends we will sneak attack them in 1 week when we see them get offline n we only had to blow up 1 wall all there doors were unlocked 😅😅😅😅 We got over 3 Large Car Tents full of Plastic explosives n Mines took them 4 weeks to find our camo base in the woods and they Raided us but we logged off with the goods. But before that even happened I built another Base decoy to keep them off the trail of our main n they Raided it 3 times, put a bounty on me n my 2 friends witch reveals where ur located every 30 mins on the map constantly being Hunted makes it hard to go to Base n gear up or drop off goods. After all that We decided to Move again bought a truck on discord it spawned up on reset loaded all the tools we had on the way to a new location we saw a wolf so I get out of the truck to go kill whoever it was but my friend got ambushed in the truck when I left he killed 2 the other guy stole my truck built 2 walls can't do nothing until raid weekend so we kept throwing grenades over the wall killed them then Jumped over the walls took All my stuff respawned my truck and now Still looking for a new location 😅😅😅 I love dayZ only have 3,500 hours into it. I hate moded stamina servers, it makes great Day Z like emulator and everything comes unnatural in game. So sad most of the players playing on such server and dont realize that with infinity stamina their skill compare to vanilla is nothing 😢

Great video! Hey, if you don't want to damage a zombie's plate carrier, you should try and either sneak on them with the knife. If they see you, do not kill them with a blunt weapon, just do it bare handed and the plate or any other gear they might have won't be damaged :)
