so happy you're playing this! i love this game so much, i really hope you enjoy it! just about some questions the game doesn't answer: according to Toby Fox in an FAQ, undertale and deltarune are in different worlds with different stories, but that doesn't rule out connections completely (i think we're all still a little confused about it) thank you for all the awesome stuff, you're smashing it!

I love this game. While it is similar to Undertale you can't really think of it as a sequel. It kind of feels more like an alternate reality or something. The characters are so fun and adventure calls. All of the music is really great! Not sure if you could handle the "Snow Grave" Route. That opens up in Chapter 2. It is very disturbing.... and that's all I'm going to say about that. Awe man I'm sad you didn't let Ralsei teach you how to fight. Now you don't get to see the adorable reaction when you hug him! 🥰

yaaaay!!! finally ^^ I absolutely loved your UT playthrough and im so glad you gave this a chance (and finished chapter 1), hope you loved it and that youre looking forward to playing chapter 2 whenever you feel ready. pd: I also thought that the crayons missing the green one was a joke because of the color youve chosen on the beginning, cz i also choose green, but it really doesnt, it always says green, so its just coincidence (and neither does the color of Kris's sweater its influenced by that) i think Kris's favorite color is green, so thats why they wear it, which its sad if you think about how that specific color is missing and also all about their side of their room.

Kinda sucks that you didn't go for the battle tutorial (and especially so since you dodged the important explanation about TP later, too) but I'm still very glad to see this pop up in my subscription feed. (ah, just realized why you kept skipping stuff the Tutorial Puzzle guys were saying - I think you just... didn't realize that there was an option at the top, since it was always the one you missed) I'm sure you're probably aware by now, but you didn't kill that little disc guy (edit: yeah, you noticed, I just hadn't gotten that far in the vid lol). You actually can't kill people in this game in general, unlike Undertale. They just run off. It's still not nice to do, but not quite on the scale of, say, Undertale genocide.

it's not finished yet, but I highly recommend playing chapter 2! it's longer than chapter 1, a whole new adventure and pretty fun to play and it expands on the themes from the first chapter

@@logiclunacy606 well that's kinda the point. Undertale was actually a side project to Deltarune as it started development first. However, it was paused for a bit so Toby Fox could finish Undertale first and learn from the things he did there for Deltarune. The only reason it's taking longer than expected is because Chapter 2 went through development hell (similarly, Chapter 3 was in it as well.) But Chapter 3 and 4 are releasing as a bundle and it seems Chapter 4 is almost done excluding console ports and bugtesting stuff.
