No-one is denying indigenous were here first. But they are 3% of the population. This is not an Aboriginal country. The last few years it seems any time Australia is represented to the rest of the world it is with an Aboriginal theme. How about we be represented by all of us, not just the 3%? For 97% of us, the only time we interact with Aboriginal culture is when we are forced to with welcome to country and having the flag forced into official places, so how is that culture the face of Australia? All these things do is force an 'us and them' mentality creating unnecessary resentment. By the government and places like ABC trying to force their culture into every aspect of everything, it has turned a beautiful culture into something that makes most people cringe these days.
