No wrong!!!. My mother in law still believes the ABC is the chalice of righteousness... 🤦♂️

That is my mother too. To be fair she's in her 90's. The former Twitter platform for leftist propaganda she declared 'the truth' and nothing but the truth. Too late to argue..😢

What is the rationale these day for the ABC? When television began in the 1950s there was not full coverage by the commercial networks in the rural areas, so a national broadcaster made some sense. But technology and the internet have long made this obsolete. Even if the ABC was unbiased, it would still be unnecessary.

Right on! Especially about the 'then' and the 'now', in terms of movements in technology. State-owned and -sponsored legacy media organisations - The Beeb, ABC(Australia), CBC(Canada) et al - passed sell-by quite a long while ago.

It belongs to a dying format regardless of its quality which is shambolic at best.

I really don't think the word 'hate' conveys the contempt we have for those despicable piles of human garbage working at the ABC, the lies they tell and the truth twisting they do while pretending to be the gatekeepers of truth and morality is utterly sickening. I'd rather watch a floaty in the bowl than anything they produce.

If we love then by definition we must be capable of hate.Embrace it, or deny it and be a hypocrite as well.

I use to religiously listen to the abc, they painfully are biased, in Victoria Daniel Andrews did no wrong according to the abc commentators. I can just imagine how they will be sayin how good Tim Pallas was a Treasurer.

If an unwatched ABC gets suddenly defunded ( hopefully...one day) but nobody noticed ( excited though when we find out) would Paul Barry still be as pompous and obnoxious? Sorry not a trick question. Yes, always obviously😂

I’m coming up to 62 and have not watched ABC since I was 18. Even back then, I was smart enough to know that it was a one-sided broadcasting network. We vote Governments in and out. Where is the tick box to vote ABCs closure. 🙃

Make ABC, NITV and SBS a subscription service. It will reflect demand. Those that want it can subscribe.
