I am 76 years old and have seen and heard the 5th performed by universally acclaimed Symphony Orchestras many times, but this one standout by the animation and vigor everyone of the players exude, it is an excellent performance and grand interpretation of The Victorious Smphony

One of the benefits of having a national public service TV station with it's own symphony orchestra and concert hall. Everything is geared towards not only live performances but also broadcasting. And they're definitely pretty good at what they do.

I love the works by Beethoven but, among all, I love the Second Movement of this Fifth Symphony (7:55). I find it sweet, peaceful, in moments intriguing and then majestic. To me Beethoven used every element available to him musically to deliver this rich orchestral masterpiece.
