I am no musician but this first piece ( you know my name) is so addictive!. The harmony between wind instruments, string instruments and base is perfectly aligned. Gradual build up, multiple layering of various instruments including the solo of the trumpet and climax has been performed with such gusto! Such a talented blend of youth and mature muscians performing with intellect and emotion! Hope this video reach reach a wider audience. This would have made even our A R Rahman proud if he tried.

Wow, Only now I appreciate the musicality of these JamesBond songs when played or rendered In musical instruments: the trumpet In “you know my name”; the trombone In “golden Eye”: the Cello In “Skyfall” and the clarinet In “another way to die” ; and the violin In “no time to die” and all players of their orchestra, SUPERB performance. We Love listening to This KZbin.

Ich möchte an dieser Stelle auch mal ein verdammt großes Lob an alle MitarbeiterInnen im Hintergrund aussprechen, die dies alles hier erst möglich machen! Vor allem, was man bei diesem Arrangement wieder herrlich hören kann, die perfekte Tonmischung. Man hört jedes Instrument, jeden Ton, jede Schwingung scharf einzeln heraus, wenn man sich mit geschlossenen Augen auf die Musik einlässt - absolut unfassbar hervorragende Qualität auf Weltniveau, liebes WDR Orchester! Aber von Euch bin ich auch nichts anderes gewohnt. 🙂

Gänsehaut! Könnt ihr bitte mit sowas auf Tour gehen?!!! Welche Bandbreite an Instrumenten und auch stilistisch und kompositorisch der ganze Bondsoundtrack allein aufweist, ist einfach unglaublich! Da ist für jeden was dabei. Diese geniale Version von Skyfall so dermaßen butterweich gespielt von dem Cellisten - zum Dahinschmelzen! Ich könnte so weitermachen und außerdem ewig zuhören. Es war schon über die Anlage gehört brilliant, aber wie mitreißend muss es erst live sein...?

The cello 3:50 for Adele's voice totally transformed it into deeply melancholic, and how beautifully played - merging the melody with the theme at the end. Hats off to trumpet for Chris Cornell, trombone for Tina Turner, saxophone for Alicia & Jack, the electric violin for Billie. Fantastic use of wind instruments including flutes, clarinets, French horns and the powerful contrabassoon.
